Programme: B. Tech CSE

Batch: 2017-2021

International Exposure: BRICS Educational Internship Programme

University: Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia

Before joining Amity, I was well aware about the immense pool of opportunities this university offered to its students. Being able to grab one was surreal for me. BRICS Educational Internship Programme was one of a kind. This internship was on scholarship basis with vacancy of just 25 students from all over India and offered multiple courses to choose from. I knew it was very difficult for me to actually get selected for this but I believed in myself and participated in the selection process. On receiving my selection letter, I was over the moon but also in a state of disbelief. I never knew that I had it in me to actually achieve such a big milestone. From here, my journey of making new friends, learning new concepts and great international exposure began. I was selected for the portfolio of International Business and Project Management. Coming from a technical background, it was a new challenge/experience for me to gain expertise in this profile.

We were assisted by Dr. Manoj Sharma Sir at each and every step of our journey. Before embarking on this international voyage, Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir and Dr. Garima Aggarwal Ma’am helped us clear all our doubts and kept us motivated. They were kind enough to spare out time from their busy schedule to help us prepare for the challenges we would be facing. Without the assistance of our faculty, it would’ve been a struggle for us.

In the internship, I got the opportunity to connect with the people from different parts of the world like Russia, South Africa and Brazil (to name a few). Due to the unprecedented times amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the students from China were not able to join us physically but thanks to technology, we were virtually connected to each other. I studied subjects like International Marketing and Corporate Finance, participated in events like MUN and BRICS Dialogue, travelled across the city of Vladivostok trying different cuisines and exploring the culture and people. This internship was a dream come true for me.

Last but not the least, I would like to again thank Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir, Dr. Manoj Sharma Sir, Dr. Garima Aggarwal Ma’am and our faculty for their constant support throughout our internship period. I would also advice all the students to actively seek out life changing opportunities like this and always believe in yourself!

I first came to know about the senior certificate program when Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal sir introduced it to us in an orientation held for in-campus recruitment. As soon as I heard about the program, I realized the benefits of this program, both intellectual and professional, I had no reason to turn down this offer. It has always been my dream to study in United States of America and Amity University helped me achieve this dream.

The application process was very easy, all thanks to Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir, Prof. Dr. Sartaj Sahni and Dr. Garima Aggarwal. They all motivated me and helped me through each and every step in the application process.

I came here with seven other friends from Amity. We reached here almost a week prior to the commencement date to get settled, but it took us just a few days to get settled in. We received a lot of help from our seniors who were already here pursuing their masters. The journey so far has been very exciting, and we are really overwhelmed by the education standards.

A standout amongst the best parts of the University of Florida is the friendly environment. We get the chance to set off for college in a climate that every other person sees while out of town. There are several associations one can join. Even though it is a plethora’s campus, everybody including the students, teachers and administration truly invest the push to make an inviting environment. They not only provide resources necessary to allow a new student to acclimate successfully into campus life but also to flourish via the provision of programs such as freshmen orientation, study and tutoring sessions, wellness and counseling services, law services, job fairs, internship fairs, and recreational activities.

I would like more and more students to enroll for this program. This is a life time opportunity being provided by Amity, I don’t think one should miss it.

The University of Florida program is once in a life time opportunity for students seeking for masters abroad. This programs really helps you set career on a defined path and provides you with the opportunity you may not know about. The main benefit of this program is that you start your master’s courses while you are in the last semester of your bachelors and if you continue with it you can complete your masters with 6 months to spare and that can be used for variety of important things like internships. There are lot of opportunities that we as student are unaware of and once, we get this exposure we get a plethora of options to choose from. I recommend each person seeking for masters to at least try out this course and decide for themselves. I am writing this, while I am pursuing this course and believe its worth every bit. This course will entirely change you as a student and there is no easy way to get into such a great university.

I would like to thank AMITY UNIVERSITY for giving me this life Changing opportunity. It is not easy to take admission in such a prestigious university. I spent almost 5 months in the University of Florida. It was a life changing experience for me. When I was in India, Many people said “Mohit you will face Discrimination in foreign University”. But truly speaking, I have never saw such a Friendly and helpful environment in my entire life. In American Universities, people come from around the world. The respect given by Americans is really mind blowing. Personally, I am thanking Dr. Abhay Bansal for giving me this life changing opportunity.

In USA, the social environment is totally different. When a masters student went there after his/her graduation, he can clearly feel the independence in work environment. In India, I don’t have much knowledge about startups, and I don’t even know about the trending technologies. But as I went there, I saw that on a massive scale the US government use the computer science technologies in their daily. The US is technology-oriented country. Even small villages of US use very expensive but essential technologies. So as a computer science graduate, it was a place for me to think about how I should develop such important technologies which can help people even in my own country. In America, the environment is workaholic. Everyone does their job with responsibility and loyalty. I worked in subway for like one and half month. It was so enjoying working there and the payroll is also good enough.

My life is completely changed by joining new technologies. I know what I have to do and how to achieve my goals. I am constantly working towards my goals. Thanks again to our HOI, Dr. Abhay Bansal for offering me this amazing opportunity.

When I get to know about this opportunity, I was not sure whether it was a good opportunity or not because I never heard about the University of Florida before Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal sir introduced it to us. When I discussed this with my friends and family, I merely get a positive response, so I was very confused about what to do. So, after thinking a lot, I decided to grab this opportunity because I will not get a better opportunity than this.

Later, I found that the application process was so easy compared to when you apply on your own. I got all the documents including visa, I20 form with me without any tension and hardship. All thanks to Amity University, Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir, Prof. Dr. Sartaj Sahni, and Dr. Garima Aggarwal.

When we reached here people from IGSA (Indian Student Graduate Association) came to receive us at the airport and provided us with temporary accommodation for two days so we didn't find any difficulty to settle down to our own apartments. And when I met my seniors who were already pursuing their masters, they treated me like a brother and helped me at every step during the semester.

The best part here in the University of Florida is that it feels like home here. The university provides me with almost every possible resource to help me in academics. The Lectures were very interactive, and I get to learn a lot many things and how to implement those things to real-life projects. This semester was full of challenges and knowledge. I am so glad that I choose the University of Florida for my masters and would recommend all my juniors to grab the opportunity at any cost.

For someone who has planned for a long time for obtaining a Masters degree in a place like United States of America, this opportunity offered by Amity University was hard to miss. I got to know about this program in the Summer of 2018, effectively the time before I was to appear for placements in the seventh semester. Soon after we met with Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal who explained to us how the senior certificate program allows us to spend the entire last semester of B.Tech at University of Florida followed by admission to full-time admission to the University for continuing Master of Science in Computer Science. This program was not only academically practical and efficient, it was also financially extremely reasonable.

Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal helped us and updated us about the procedure throughout, including arranging a one-on-one meeting with our seniors who attended the same program and were then absorbed for continuing their Masters at University of Florida. We were fully convinced and soon completed the application process and reached University of Florida in the January of 2019.\

We soon found ourselves studying Master-level courses in Computer Science amongst students from all over the world, doing group projects with people with varied skills and interests. Moreover, the campus was so beautiful, public transportation for getting to the campus was free of cost for students and the University Administration was extremely cooperative. Our seniors from the same program played a pivotal role in guiding us not just academically, but also being a constant emotional support and helping us get comfortable in a new environment.

At the University, Distinguished Prof. Dr. Sartaj Sahni guided us with everything including choosing the courses, handling a new curriculum and even exploring opportunities in and around the campus. This opportunity has helped me transition from bachelors to masters quickly and easily with constant help and support from both Amity University and University of Florida. Having successfully completed the Senior Certificate Program, I am all set to attend the University of Florida for full-time MS in Computer Science from August,2019.

I would highly recommend anyone who plans to get an MS in Computer Science from United States of America to enroll for this program as it has truly helped me bag a University as well reputed as University of Florida with ease and constant support from teachers, administration and my seniors. This opportunity was full of great exposure and learning.

I firstly came to know about this program through the first in-campus recruitment session held, where Prof Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir mentioned about the great opportunity that we have for taking a Senior Certificate Program, in University Of Florida. Just as he started explaining about the whole program, I was so convinced to not let go of such great opportunity. I always planned to do my masters from somewhere in United States and Amity University helped me get closer to my dream by letting me do so, more early than I ever planned to.

The application process was really smooth, i was constantly guided by Prof. Dr. Abhay Bansal Sir, Prof. Dr. Sartaj Sahni Sir and Dr. Garima Aggarwal Ma'am. They always motivated me and helped me throughout the whole process and also provided me with the details of our seniors, who are already pursuing the master program to explore more about the program.

All together we came as a group of eight people for the program, it took us a few days to get settled here and understand the may things work in this country. Our seniors have been a great help here and they have guided and made us aware about all the important elements that we need to be aware of. My journey here has been really inspiring, I have explored so much. The professor and students hem are amiable, they always encourage you to move forward.

This project had the most stress, work, and complexity of any class I have ever taken, and I would do it all over again if I had the opportunity. There are some things a textbook just can’t teach, the intangibles that form who you are and how you react to a given situation. Sure I could have learned the definition of MIS and project management, but would I know its true meaning? Partnering with Amity University and YOACAP helped me to get a first-hand experience of what these words really meant.

In a little under two months our team at Amity was able to work with us to create a fully functional website, success! I had never been a part of a project of this magnitude, let alone working with people in another country and we were able to produce a website! However the success didn’t stop there as we were competing against four other groups.

Four other groups consisting of the bright students from Drexel and Amity University, how would we compare to them? What would the customer have to say? Well the customer was delighted with what every group was able to produce; I think this is a tribute to how great the students of both schools were throughout the entire project. In the end our group was selected as the winners; more success! I couldn’t have been more proud of the way our team at Amity worked and cooperated with us.

Through late nights, early morning, and edit after edit after edit, they were with us every step of the way. While they may have been thousands of miles away it never felt like we were outsourcing, it felt like we were all part of one singular team. Thank you to Atulpriya, Sukriti, Mehak, Nikita, and Amity University for your friendship and giving me an experience that I will never forget.

Initially, I had no real idea on how a website is made, so it was not until this project that I was able to see the use of Word Press and how convenient it was to make a website. Being able to work with my team to manage this website was very intensive and I learned a lot from this experience to develop this page with my technical team. Some of the most important parts of this project were the ability to listen, comprehend and communicate ideas, and be prepared for any drawbacks in the process.

Overall, there really were no big issues or misunderstandings in this process at all because our technical team from Amity University was so hardworking and amazing and we had a rather common understanding on a lot of things. If I could do this process all over again, I would definitely do it not only because I was able to gain such an experience, but because I was also able to become friends with some really amazing people from halfway across the world.

Shruti

Overall the experience was both exciting and stressful. Our technical team was incredibly competent and put out a product that was not only effective, but aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate and understand, and easy to manage. Due to the guidelines involved with the traditional methodology it was very stressful handing over the proposal and then relying solely on another team to develop the site without any further input by our team, but it payed off as the produce was a success. One of the chief difficulty was the time difference.

I was unable to attend several meetings because they were scheduled during my work week. I did have the pleasure of attending more meetings during the testing stage of the project and was able to interact more closely with the technical team, which was exciting and enjoyable.

Andrew Aker

Overall, this was an amazing learning experience, not just about outsourcing, but culture differences as well. I look forward to keeping in touch with the development team, as I have much respect for them.

One of the best decisions I made in my life is taking admission in Amity University. I had heard a lot about the university, and one of the core reasons were the kind of environment and opportunities to work on Indo-US project like this one. It feels great to be a part of such a Global Classroom Collaboration project with Drexel University and Amity University. Now that we have successfully completed this project, I’ve gained an early experience of working with International Clients before I move out to the corporate world.

Our task was to build a web portal for a non-Profit Organization: YOACAP, which is based in Philadelphia, US. Developing and designing such a web portal which not only functionally exceptional but also visually appealing was the biggest task, considering the fact that we were given the liberty to choose the platform our team thought was appropriate. I’ve had few years of experience working with Open Source Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PhpBB Forums, etc. But for this project, we coded the whole website from ground up, and for the first time, we built our own Content Management System, considering the requirements of our client. We built a unique User Interface, which is a Windows 8 style web portal. It is only because of this project, we set higher limits and with consistent hard work and support of all the 4 members of our team, we were able to set up a web portal which is visual and functional benchmark. You can access the whole web portal here: http://www.fluper.com

I think it is really important that students should get to work on such Global projects, which help us gaining International exposure and give us an edge when we move out to the corporate world. I am extremely thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal, Head of Department, Computer Science & Engineering and Amity University for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to work on this project.

The Amity-Drexel Collaboration project proved to be one such opportunity for me where I could get the privilege of working as a web developer with some highly dignified personnel and my colleagues. The project not only elevated my knowledge but also tinged my interpersonal skills. It gave me the chance to interact with professionals across the globe thereby flaring up my networks. The exchange of ideas and concepts throughout furthered my intellect which would benefit me in future endeavors.

The Indo-US project refined the technical bent in me and elated my dexterity. It upgraded my stratum from being academic to a professional one. I could experience the benefit of receiving an industry level experience from this splendid cross cultural interaction. It served as a great tool in shaping my abilities.

I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal and Amity University for providing me with such a great experience. I would also express my gratitude to each and every individual associated with this project for making it a successful one. The project assisted me in various ways and it would be my pleasure in taking up more assignments like this in future.

It was an awesome experience for me to work on international collaboration project like this one. I am very thankful to our HOD, Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal, and CSE Department for providing me this unique opportunity to be a part of this project. I am highly obliged to Amity University for providing me with this exposure which would be beneficial to me for my future. This project helped me understand different technical, cultural and communicational aspects. Working on across the ocean project like this involved lot of difficulties such as difference in time zones, communication barrier, etc. but by the help of management team and support from our department, we have completed our project smoothly. We collaborated with management team from Drexel University, US via video conference and mail which helped us to understand the requirement of project very clearly and effectively. The time spend on this project will always be best time spent during my college life. I will utilize the experience gained by this project in future.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal and Dr. Samir Shah for bringing up such a gem of an opportunity for us students, for creating conditions conducive to the same, and for deeming me worthy of participating in the project. It shall always be remembered by me, and I cannot thank enough for that.

As for my experience with the aforementioned project, it was awe-inspiring, to say the least. The learning experience has been beyond anything I could have imagined before. The project was very holistic in approach, grand in scope and pertinent in utility, not to mention its relevance to us as final year students.

In addition to opening venues to novel technologies, the project-making experience has imparted me exposure of international level and given me a glorious memory to cherish forever, and for that I am immensely grateful.

Madhav Joshi

Being a part of the Indo-US Global classroom program was itself a big achievement and winning it was even bigger. It was new experience for all of us from various aspects. Interacting with people of different cultures, time zones, geographical locations were a great experience.

For me, the theoretical knowledge of all that was taught in Software Engineering was put to practical use. I realized how important the Requirement Analysis phase to gather the requirements from the client is. Without this, one can’t even start a project! The Design phase, Testing phase were all experienced hands on and helped me learn various aspects of software development.

Also, working on the Agile approach was something entire new to me. Had just a brief about it but had to learn a lot during the course of the project. The stand-up meetings, project backlogs, the poker game for estimation etc. which were a part of this approach were found really helpful. My US team at Drexel were a bunch of highly co-operative people. From my project manager to the secretary, all were present for all the meetings and were highly interactive. They were very patient and understanding on our working styles. Being awake till 2am was fun, especially for me who usually sleeps by 10pm!

All in all, it was a great experience that I will cherish all my life. My first project as a Team Leader and started with a win. My team members were very helpful and co-operative. My mantra for the project was “Do what the Client likes, even if there are things that you dislike.”

Madhav Joshi, Student (2010-14) | B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering, ASET, Amity University, Noida

My mantra for the project was "Do what the Client likes, even if there are things that you dislike."

Atulpriya Sharma, Student (2010-14) | B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering, ASET, Amity University, Noida

From the very first day at Amity University, Noida Campus, I had the aspiration to achieve something new at Amity. Years passed but I always knew I had that potential to carry away my dreams and knowledge but was waiting for one opportunity in life and I got that when my Programme Leader Mr. S.C. Gupta gave me one key to success to join a team of all final year students i.e. my seniors. I was the only junior, So, I was privileged and honored. I collected all my nerves and put my heart and soul in this Grand Collaboration Indo-Us Classroom Project.

It was very innovative knowledgeable and productive project. My rigorous and meticulous efforts made the team to achieve the target the project that our team developed was a web portal based on PHP and HTML with new innovations like Content Management System (CMS) and Windows 8 based Metro UI with creative styling that attracted all the other teams as well as the clients, YOACAP NGO. This project gave me lot of internal satisfaction and mental comfort as I got the opportunity to learn what the others couldn't think of.

Working with my team all members were great but I loved most about team was combined effect and learning environment nobody treated me as junior everyone was very comfortable with my views opinions and knowledge.

The thing I am going to remember is my team’s Head Web Designer, Mr. Piyush Arora provided back support. He was always very humble always tried to help me.

Anshul Sharma, Student (2011-2015) | B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering, ASET, Amity University, Noida

I had the pleasure of working with Lebow School of Business on the YOACAP Website Development Project over the course of 2 months. During these two months, we communicated largely over emails, videoconferences, and phone calls due to our separate locations at Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA) and Amity University (Noida, India). The purpose of the project was to bring two classes located in different countries to work together on one common project, learning the process of outsourcing in a direct and applicable way. I worked with the management team and the client closely during this project as Project Managers of the technical team. Through this collaboration, I was able to get to understand working with clients in a both formal and informal way.

The project consisted of many challenges, particularly due to the time differences and extent of communication needed to complete the task. While the amount of work and preparation was at times overwhelming. Last year I was privileged to be awarded a full scholarship from Prudential Financial, USA to do an internship and study in USA. This was the second experience Amity University provided me to have global exposure. I am very thankful to Founder President Sir, Chancellor Sir and the Computer Science Department for providing me both opportunities.

Ankit Gupta, Student(2010-14) | B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering, ASET, Amity University, Noida

I feel overwhelmed to be a part of the INDO–US collaboration between Amity University and Drexel University. Being a part of team WEMA actually gave me a chance to work on a live project and deliver the product to the foreign clients as per their requirements.

Sukriti Bhatnagar, Student(2010-14) | B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering, ASET, Amity University, Noida

This Indo-US project was an awesome experience; it helped me learn how to deal with cross cultural barriers, being tolerant and co-operative. I thank amity for this wonderful opportunity, this has been an experience I will always cherish and remember.

Purdue University

Great Experience at Purdue University Calumet. Being in US which has a total different culture of living, working and education, is a career boosting and defining experience itself. Our all day activity includes doing the project work at one of the most advanced laboratories and interacting with talented students and professors of Purdue University. Campus Housing which is known as Purdue University Village is simply amazing and has all the facilities of a hotel, couldn’t ask for more. Looking forward to a wonderful and memorable experience.

Piyush Arora

We are having a great time over here. We are being guided by not one but two professors over here the other one being Prof. Omar Farook. He is actually brushing up our coding skills. We were greeted by both of them very well. Although there is a huge difference in culture and environment over here but they were happy to finally talk to the students in their native language. The labs looked very advanced and hi-tech. Although the greenery is covered by a white blanket of snow which makes the temperature quite chilling for our ears especially when we are outside, the campus and all the other buildings are extremely comfortable and warm and one can actually roam around wearing shorts and a tshirt even in this negative weather. Apart from having fun and exploring the city we are being constantly reminded about how to take advantage of this great and rare opportunity we are getting over here.

Ujjal Goswami

It is difficult to put to words the amazing experience I am having while doing a Senior Design Project at Purdue University Calumet. This has been by far the most effective learning curve for me both professionally and personally. The team of faculty here has been instrumental in making me comfortable here. Also, the warmth of people here is touching. They accept diversity and differences and are extremely patient while listening to any difficulties and queries. Thus , I am having a memorable experience here and I hope to enjoy every bit of this journey.

Avinash Srivastava

I have had an amazing experience until now. My sole purpose for this program was to experience the research oriented approach of teaching. I have also had the opportunity to experience the study culture beforehand as I am planning to pursue my masters from United States. I am thankful to Prof.(Dr) Abhay Bansal for giving me this opportunity.

Saurabh Sharma

It’s a dream for everyone to come to the United States, so do I had a dream which turned into reality when I was given a chance to go for this student exchange program. Studying in here provides a lot of exposure and experience because we get to meet a lot of people from different nationalities with enriched culture. It’s a life time opportunity which should not be missed.

Kannav Mahajan

This exchange program has been a life changing experience for me. The recent few weeks have been amazing .I got to meet people of different culture and understand them. People here are very helpful. Parivartika Patel

Until now the experience has been amazing. The education as well as involvement in other activities is something which is unique. The culture is entirely different as people are more involved in intercultural activities. I am thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay bansal Sir without whom this would not have been possible. Looking forward to these four months at Purdue University. I hope we will have an amazing time.

Diksha Gaur

I am feeling great to be a part of this wonderful opportunity given by Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal Sir. It would not have been possible without him. It is totally a wonderful experience. It's not just about attending lectures but also about enjoying every moment as it is coming. I hope this becomes a life changing experience for me.

It is rightly said by Charles Darwin, it is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change. I now understand this and really glad to see myself being adaptable to the new surroundings. I am meeting new people, learning new culture and entirely different lifestyle. The education system is designed in such a manner that a student explores its interest areas and nourishes himself in his interest areas. People are really hardworking and helpful. I am inculcating new values in me. I am now frequently using sorry and thank you as the culture demands. I m really glad to be a part of this exchange program and really grateful to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal for this great opportunity.

Alisha Verma

My initial experience of Purdue University Calumet has been great. For me it is a dream come true as I always aspired to study abroad and know how different people in different places of the world study. In my initial week, we have worked in a micro controller lab and the professors here are very helpful and far more application oriented than I've seen. The experience of American way of learning also taught me quiet strict rules like having a personal schedule, taking part in various college events and also to work while learning. The culture here is quiet open, everybody has a big heart to help and they say Americans like to be happy so we help each other and smile. There are various brotherhoods which are like the simplest way to get to know different people and make friends and help each other there student organisations also help university to run smoother as they also have a part in educational ways and oh yea, the competitions.

Varun Rama Raja Dandu

It has been a splendid experience to be a part of Purdue University Calumet. The education system is very flexible and liberal. People are more focused and very helpful. The openness of the culture has been new experience to me. The determination of the system is inspiring. Its pleasure to be part of this exchange program. I am thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal for his input in this exchange program and the authorities of Amity University for providing this opportunity.

Siddharth Gupta

"Completing my final year project at Singapore University of Technology & Design has been one of the most challenging opportunities I have got. Coping with cultural indifferences has been one part and the second has been pushing me to work harder each day. It is not only a difficult environment but also very competitive and fast paced. The entire ecosystem is very vibrant and moving. There is only room for growth. I have learnt a lot in the past few months and believe that it would make me more adaptive and flexible."

SAP Australia 2016

I am thankful to amity university, Prof. HOD Abhay Bansal sir for providing us with such a great opportunity. SAP Australia was really informative. Our classes were conducted at Swinburne University Hawthorn campus. All the teachers were very friendly. Most of the students have planned to return back to Melbourne for Masters. We got the chance to visit RMIT University of Melbourne. Outings were also organized to eureka tower, Great Ocean Road. This trip was memorable and i am thankful to Abhay Bansal sir and Amity University for providing this opportunity to us.

Sagar Nenwani, B.Tech CSE(2013-17)

This one month journey of the SAP Australia can not be briefly described in some words. But one thing that was constant throughout this period was the new experience. Each morning, starting from catching a tram to ending up at reaching a wrong station through metro, everything came as a new challenge. And just like a genuine leader our HOI - Dr. Abhay Bansal and faculty guide- Mr. Ankur Chaudhary supported us till the end to overcome all such challenges easily. We even got a chance to meet Mr. Raj Kumar Bhuyya who's know to be The father of Cloud Computing. Then we were also helped a lot in finding the best options out of the various well known universities of Melbourne for our post graduation in our desired fields. Not only these faculties from amity but even the other Swinburne faculties were very helpful in all terms. Basically, this Study Abroad Program couldn'thavebeen better!

Khusboo Narang, B.Tech CSE(2013-17)

I, Abhishek Balwani, would like to give a short feedback on our SAP-Australia Program. We reached Melbourne on the 10th of April. Since then, we've had lectures with the Swinburne faculty, which everyone of us felt very delighted to be attending. We attended a complete session in the Factory of the Future at Swinburne University, where we literally stepped into the future. We saw and learned about 3D printing and scanning, virtual reality, and saw live motion capture. We were also taken to Furnace Engineering as an Industrial visit, where we basically got to see how companies work here. Their expansions all over the world, and how they deal with huge supply and demand. We also had a small session in the Robotics department at Swinburne, where we saw the working and usage of Robotics arm. Then we were taken to University of Melbourne where we had a nice interaction with Dr. Raj Kumar Buyya, Director of the cloud computing and distributed systems (Clouds) laboratory at the University of Melbourne. He gave us a brief review of how multi threading is used in Distributed Cloud Computing. We also had a visit to Deakin University, which was quite far, but worth visiting. The next day, we went to see the Civil and Mechanical labs at Swinburne, where real life testing was going on. We also went to the Networking labs which were also very greatly maintained. Then we visited the RMIT University. We had a complete campus tour, and loved the things around there. They had so modern labs with the latest and powerful equipment one could get. We also had a discussion regarding our masters program at RMIT and many of us are actually interested in coming here. All these visits seem to be a very good opportunities as being 3rd year students, we will be applying to these universities by next year.

Abhishek Balwani , B.Tech CSE(2013-17)

SAP London 2016

SAP London transpired to be an exuberant and vibrant experience in all of my time with Amity University. I got to socialize with many new people, professors and as well as got in touch with my old friends living in London. While getting to see the amazing city of London, i was able to study courses at Amity London under professors with specialized background in research methodology. Although i would have loved to have more courses and projects related to Computer Science, I cannot let it undermine the enlightenment of courses taught at Amity London. Exploring the City of London while Studying at London is one of the most satisfying experiences for any student, and I get to experience this through SAP London. I thank Amity University for providing me with this opportunity and entrusting me with the task to represent Amity at London.

Abdul Rehman Khan, B.Tech CSE (2012-16)

SAP Dubai 2016

Our experience to Dubai has been mesmerizing. We went to Thuraya Telecommunications Pvt. Ltd. and studied about their research, history, working and their products and services. If i have to talk about academics, then their way of teaching and conducting classes is more of a practical approach. They ask to present the topics rather then taking old style handwritten assignments. Living independently gives the power of exploring so we explored the whole of dubai in 37 days of our stay. From Burj Khalifa to Dubai Mall to Dessert Safari to Ferrari world to Grand mosque to Dubai outlet mall to Ibn-e-batuta Mall to Palm Jumeirah and it's beautiful beaches. We did lot of shopping from Dubai Outlet Mall and Meena Bazaar. We learnt to cook food, wash clothes and iron them. We used to buy vegetables and fruits in the evening and then cook food. We saw the new Amity University, Dubai in its full swing construction. All our professors were extremely cooperative and supporting. Dubai has a beautiful nightlife and amazingly rich people. To see the light show and fountain show at Burj Khalifa was something of next level. We did a few water sports at Palm Jumeirah Beach and tried a few of their famous beach cafe's of which the best one was Cheese Cake Factory. The way of construction and their building styles are way beyond imagination. Every other building had a different shape, size or colour. We met a few Arabic people at their shops and learnt about the sheikh lifestyle and their culture. Every small little thing about dubai can be praised. Everything is exceptional. This SAP experience to Dubai provided by Amity was beneficial in every aspect. Thank you for giving such an opportunity. I assume it has been benefitial for me in my self-grooming and i hope that it will put weight in my resume at the time of placements.
