The students receive constant mentorship and encouragement from highly qualified and experienced faculty of ASET-ME. The students are engaged in cutting edge research and live industry projects.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest disciplines. It involves practical application of basic and engineering sciences for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems that we see every day around us.
We can solve today’s problems and develop future solutions in diverse domains such as Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial products, Consumer products, Healthcare, Energy etc.
Can you imagine a day in your life without Automobiles?
Ever imagined how an aeroplane moves high in skies across the globe with such a high speed?
Can you imagine how to generate electricity from waste? Or from water?
All these have one thing in common –”Mechanical Engineering”
Today’s world has so many appliances in our daily lives e.g. refrigerator, air-conditioner, vacuum cleaner
The department offers science-based engineering curriculum. The curriculum focuses on imparting technical knowledge, improve problem solving and innovative abilities of our students. We follow multi-level pedagogy using hands-on practical projects based approach to reinforce theoretical concepts. The students have undertaken technically challenging high impact design projects like Formula Car, All Terrain Vehicle(ATV), Efficycle and a Hybrid car. Many of these projects have won us acclaim for their innovation in national and international competitions e.g. Supra SAE India, SAE BAJA, Efficycle, Go-Kart etc. We have a robust industry – academia collaboration programmes. Our students are placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Honda, Volvoline, Siemens etc. We have strong emphasis on skill building.
I am a Robotics enthusiast. During my stay at Amity University I served as President of Robotics Club for 2 years and represented the MAE department at various national and international platforms. I have been a member of IET, UK and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME, USA) since 2011, and actively submitted various papers and projects internationally. I really thank Amity University for providing me the platform and opportunities for making me a complete professional.

My four years of engineering at Amity were very fruitful. Amity provided me the platform to hone and nurture different facets of my personality that have made me a more competitive and balanced individual. The rigorous curriculum has lent me a sound technical foundation in manufacturing science and handling manufacturing projects at Bosch. I would like to credit much of my success to the distinguished faculty members, their constant encouragement and close participation in my academic development.
B.Tech. (MAE), 2010-14
Senior Engineer, Bosch Ltd, Jaipur
I turned out to be the Silver-Medalist in my Academics and have developed my leadership potential being the Class- Representative throughtout the 5 years in Amity. I have improved by research ability by filing a patent through Amity with the support of my Mechanical department. I like the hands-on approach of the courses at Amity because it has taken my learning beyond theory.

I am thankful to my teachers for making me understand the intricacies of subjects and life. Friends who are there for lifetime how to forget them. My teachers who took so much to make us understand the difficult theories of Mechanical Engineering. One thing I learnt that it is not the building, facilities or the environment which makes a person educated but the teachers who are the epitome of knowledge and are a paragon. My alma mater is the place whom I owe my success”.
