Techphilia 8.0, the Annual Tech Fest organized by Amity Institute of Information Technology, Patna was a remarkable three-day celebration of technology, creativity, and sustainability. Aligning with global observances—World Creativity and Innovation Day (April 21), World Earth Day (April 22), and World Book and Copyright Day (April 23)—the 8th edition offered a unique blend of activities.
Day 1 (21 April, 2025)
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr P. K. Rao, Expert Advisor - Placement & Training, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar and the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Amity University Patna, Dr. Vivekanand Pandey. The first day focused on fostering creativity through workshops on Generative AI, Cybersecurity, and IoT, alongside engaging events like Code-a-Vita, Tech Story, and Tech Quiz.
Day 2 (22 April, 2025)
The 2nd day celebrated Earth Day with sustainability-themed competitions, including an 8-hour Hackathon supported by Google Developer Groups, featuring 16 teams from across Bihar and beyond. Highlights included the Junior Hackathon with a special entry from a Class 4 student and a Poster Making Competition, "Posterolic," on sustainability.
Day 3 (23 April, 2025)
The fest concluded with Treasure Hunt and AmiVogue, celebrating creativity and teamwork. With participation from over 30 colleges, 20 schools, and approximately 1,500 students, Techphilia 8.0 showcased the vibrant tech culture of Amity University Patna.
The Valedictory Ceremony, graced by Mr Vivek Sinha, Head, Tata Consultancy Services, Bihar, applauded the winners and emphasized the fest’s role in fostering innovation and collaboration.
