A Faculty Development Program organized by AIP from 9th to 13th October, 2023
Amity Institute of Pharmacy in collaboration with Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Amity Academic Staff College organized a Faculty Development Program, on the topic "Recent Technological Trends and Advancements in Pharmaceutical Sciences”, from 9th to 13th October 2023. The event was coordinated by Dr. Asim Kumar, Dr. Atin Kalra, Dr. Shrestha Sharma and Dr. Kiran Sharma.
The event aimed to inform participants about contemporary trends and advancements in pharmaceutical sciences. The inaugural address by Vice Chancellor Prof. P. B. Sharma highlighted the role of pharmaceutical sciences in healthcare and the importance of innovation. The event was graced by 12 esteemed speakers, who sensitized participants to novel developments in pharmaceutical sciences. Various topics such as the advancements in drug delivery systems, protective effects of natural compounds in neuro inflammation models, pedagogy in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical regulatory environments, recent trends in Drug Regulatory affairs and Drug Discovery. A total of 15 students and 99 faculty members participated in the event.
In conclusion, the Faculty Development Program successfully provided valuable insights into the latest trends and advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, fostering innovation and skill development among the participants.
