Amity Institute of Pharmacy, under the aegis of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2023, on 26th September 2023. The main aim of this event was to honour pharmacists for their contributions to enhancing world health based on the theme of the present year as “Pharmacists strengthening health systems- Angdaan Mahadan". Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Dixit Sir, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, KGMU, Lucknow as the guest of honour of the event and Shri Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, OSD, UP, Pharmacy Council as the chief guest of the event, graced this auspicious occasion with their presence. Students and faculties of AIP, AUUP, Lucknow also organised an awareness rally on “Angdaan-Mahadaan” in the campus also displayed a “Nukaad Natak” on stage in the Auditorium. Students participated enthusiastically in several competitions including Model Making Competition, Slogan Writing Competition, Rangoli-Logo Competition and Quiz Competition. The winners of these competitions were provided prizes and certificates by the guests in this event.
