The Amity School of Architecture and Planning (ASAP), established in 2015, is a leading institute that aims to facilitate quality education and enrich young minds to meet global challenges in development, innovation and application of technology for the service of humanity. Students are trained by a team of dedicated faculty members who are industry experts and seasoned academicians. Recognized by Council of Architecture (COA), ASAP offers Undergraduate programs in Architecture, Planning and Interior Design.

 

The curricula and research studies of ASAP cover all relevant elements of theory and make it into practice-based studies in the field of creating human habitat, landscape, construction techniques local, and global architectural style. The School promotes research that supports contemporary practices and issues, industrial knowledge, technology updates, critical analysis, and theoretical integration. The School has facilities to support the acquisition of knowledge such as Construction Yard, Climatology Lab, Surveying Lab, Computer Centre, Material Lab, Exhibition Room, and Students Activity Area / Model Making Room.

Mission

ASAP – AUM believes in over all growth of the students, as such, they study a few subjects more than the stipulated subjects in the Council of Architecture guidelines. Subjects like Environmental Science, Behavioral Science, English, Foreign Language and Minor track (for interior design students). These will prepare the student for the professional world in all respects and for post graduate studies in India or abroad.

Recognitions, Associations and Ranking

ASAP has an association with Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). It is a body for auditing and sanctioning star ratings for green buildings in India. The School has an IGBC student chapter in Amity University, Mumbai. The ASAP students conduct seminars, workshops, competitions and training sessions.
