Established in 2015, the Amity School of Architecture and Planning (ASAP) is dedicated to shaping future leaders in the fields of Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design. The school promotes holistic learning through rigorous academic discourse accompanied by study tours, hands-on workshops, and guest lectures to bridge the gap between academia and profession. Students are encouraged to develop innovative, sustainable, and socially responsible design solutions through capacity building programs. The undergraduate program in Architecture offered at ASAP is recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA). ASAP also offers undergraduate programs in Planning, and Interior Design, fostering design excellence and professional competence in the built environment.

ASAP's courses and research investigations incorporate all applicable theory into practice-based studies of human habitat, landscape, construction techniques, and global architectural style. The School encourages study on current challenges, industrial expertise, technology upgrades, critical analysis, and theoretical integration. The School contains a Construction Yard, Climatology Lab, Surveying Lab, Computer Centre, Material Lab, Exhibition Room, and Students Activity Area/Model Making Room for learning.

 

Committed to academic excellence and student success, ASAP is supported by well qualified faculty with a strong research inclination and diverse industry background. Faculty members actively contribute to scholarship through research publications in reputed national and international journals. Students are mentored through in studio exercises and research projects, encouraging critical inquiry and intellectual growth. In recognition of academic merit and achievement, outstanding students are also supported through university-funded scholarships and research opportunities..

ASAP-AUM is committed to providing a comprehensive and forward-looking education in architecture, planning, and interior design. The institution follows the academic framework prescribed by the Council of Architecture (COA) while enriching it with interdisciplinary subjects such as Environmental Science, Behavioural Science and Communication and Presentation Skills. Through a balance of academic rigor, creative exploration, and professional engagement, the school aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to succeed in professional practice and pursue further specialization programs in India and abroad.
