A hands-on workshop was organized for the students and faculty of ASAP, in coordination with the Ferrocement Society of India. Officials of the Ferrocement Society of India, Pune, visited the AUM campus on the 24th of January 2020 and conducted a full day hands-on training workshop, in which 45 students & faculty members participated.
The workshop began with a technical session in which the nuances of working with ferrocement were explained to the participants. This was followed by a demonstration and then hands-on training where the participants made the Amity logo. The workshop ended with an A/V presentation which highlighted the advantages of ferrocement technology, its versatility and applications in the fields of architecture and interior design.
