Measured Drawing Camp – Ami Sanchit

A four day measured drawing camp was organized for the benefit of students who could not go on study tours. This camp was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Onkar Kulkarni and about ten students participated in it.

The camp was held at the Kal Bhairav Temple complex near Karla. The temples are almost 200 years old and built in the Hemadpanthi style of architecture with the help of stones and little or no mortar.

The students spent four days at the temple complex learning to measure and document the structures in the complex. The students were accommodated at the MTDC resort at Karla. The outcome of the workshop was a set of drawings of the temple complex.
