Rotary Club of Panvel, under their Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program organized a full day workshop in the campus. This workshop which was the culmination of the efforts of Prof. Sushant Jaganade, was open to all the students and faculty of ASAP and a majority of them took advantage of it, to hone their skills.
The programme was set rolling by Dr. Swapna Modi, HoD, ITM, Kharghar and Mr. Divakaran Pillai, MD, Precision Electroproducts Pvt.Ltd., Khopoli. It was then continued by Mr. Anil Ambetkar & Mr. Kundan Gurav.
The participants were made aware of the skill set required to be a leader and subsequently they were also introduced to how a leader manages his time and works in a team. The working of the industry and what the students should expect when they step out into the real world was also highlighted by the speakers. The students were given the task of choosing a leader and performing and thinking as a leader. For effective outcome, they were also encouraged to take decisions by initiating conversations with the team members. All in all it was an extremely interactive and outcome oriented programme.
