Second semester students of Interior Design and Planning, along with two faculty members, visited the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival which included a Heritage Walk of the ‘marine street’ of Mumbai.
The KGAF normally comprises of events that include dances, theatre, music, movies and films, literature, heritage walks, hands-on workshops, art installations, etc. The students were thus exposed to an extremely wide range of artistic work and creativity. They also got a peek at some traditional Indian arts and crafts as well.
All in all, the visit to the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival was a concentrated dose of not just design and visual arts but of planning and execution too.
