ASAP design competition and workshop Brief – ASAP faculty organizing design competition for AMITY UNIVERSITY campus, aiming towards involvement of students of Amity University in dreaming and executing (subject to approval) a campus development & decoration project. This is an annual competition and deals with various design projects related to Amity campus development and decoration.
CAMPDES 2018 PROJECT – Waiting lounge furniture out of waste material Requirements – Seating and Center/Side Table / Any Other Additional suggested requirement. Expectations – Furniture Item should have about 2-year life. Keeping corrugated sheets used in packaging industry as main construction material, other low cost & eco friendly materials to be introduced up to maximum extent possible. Structure may be movable / modular / easily installable etc.
Competition was held in a healthy manner and we were blessed with the man of corrugated sheet Mr. Haresh Mehta as jury member, candidate teams came up with beautiful full-size workable models of items they had designed, which are adding value to décor of ASAP campus now .Candidates were awarded with cash prizes and certificates .
