Pre-primary education at AIS provides a stimulating play environment for the next phase of learning. Children learn through playing and being actively involved in activities planned by the teacher. They work on their own or as part of a small group. Learning is hands-on and takes place through touching, seeing, hearing, exploring and experimenting.
Some of the activities children participate in include:
- Reading books and storytelling
- Designing and creating
- Dressing up
- Doing puzzles
- Listening to and playing music
- Painting and drawing
- Playing with clay, blocks, sand and water
