Amity University Mumbai Participated in Bombay Times Fashion Show

Bombay Times Fashion Week  has always provided a platform to the rising stars of the future. In its quest to find the finest design talent in India, the Times Fashion Week has always been a front-runner in providing opportunities to the future designers of the country. And the latest installment of Bombay Times Fashion  Week was no less, it gave the perfect push to the talented students of Amity University Mumbai's Amity School of Fashion Technology.

The students of the school presented a scintillating collection - Roopantar, designed by the finest young design talent in the country. Centre-staging their creative brilliance and technical skills in a variety of themes under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Bhawana Chanana, Director of Amity School of Fashion Technology, these students put together a collection that explored Avant-Garde androgynous ensembles, amalgamated contemporary looks, high-street fashion, Indo-oriental, and Greco-Bohemian looks.

The collection traversed from traditional handicrafts to digital clothing structured through AI and showcased in the metaverse space. With many textures, colours, and silhouettes to satiate tactile and ocular sensibilities, the collection demystified the fashion journey from handcrafted traditions to virtual designs. It was amazing to witness the Institute’s larger initiative to integrate India’s cultural ethos with global design insights at the brilliant fashion showcase.
