Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT)

Studying at Amity University, Mumbai has been a marvellous experience for me. Online, hybrid, offline: all three modes of learning over the past few years have had much to offer. It is not only academic learning but also the variety of experiences, the knowledgeable faculty, the well-equipped infrastructure, and the holistic environment that have contributed to my growth. I am grateful for all the close friends I have made along the way, and I am sure that other students will also be guided along their journeys as they grow into wonderful human beings.

As a student of the four-year Fashion Styling programme at Amity School of Fashion Technology, I can confidently say that my experience has been nothing short of transformative. The curriculum at Amity is meticulously structured to nurture academic excellence and cultivate a well-rounded skill set. The faculty members provided invaluable guidance and mentorship as well as empowered me to push boundaries and explore my creativity to its fullest potential.

Amity University Mumbai is an exceptional environment for students to blossom as well as enjoy the process of learning. During my course in Amity school of fashion technology there was a noticeable difference in the workings of this college that differentiates it from the rest. For instance, the faculty are extremely helpful and willing to always listen to students’ grievances. The people from students, cafeteria workers, and helpers are very polite and understanding. The course structure is very well-planned and gives enough room for industry exposure. The extracurricular activities and clubs give enough room for creativity and to try out other things. There are fests, sports events, and competitions as well as inter-college events that happen throughout the year.

Being part of Amity School of Fashion Technology has changed my vision towards the fashion and textile industry. My skills have been improvised under the supervision of all the respected faculty member. My ambition of launching my own startup and overcoming all of the industry's challenges, as well as becoming a part of the environment, has become easier. Aside from pattern making and design, areas like as personal styling and merchandising helped me better understand my clients and the market. The transition from paper illustration to digital illustration has significantly boosted my portfolio. I am grateful to all of my faculty colleagues who have assisted me in my journey thus far.

As a student of fashion design at Amity University Mumbai, I'm grateful to have friends and faculty at ASFT who are encouraging and motivating. The faculty is committed to fostering the creative potential of its pupils. The program is thoughtfully created, providing a balance between academic understanding and real-world application. As a student of fashion design, I think that designing is a process that calls for the cooperation of talent and expertise, and our ASFT department is working hard to help every student reach their objectives. Exposure to real-world industry possibilities, such as seminars and fashion displays that are fully staffed by the department, is the most fundamental requirement. There is a collaborative atmosphere and friendly teaching members, making the support system excellent.
