Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT)

Amity has been a wonderful experience. I learnt a lot here, both academically and personally. My mentors, right from the beginning identified my strengths and provided so many opportunities to refine and enhance them. I recommend every aspiring student coming out of the school to experience Amity University Mumbai and enrich their lives.

My experience in college has given me a chance to sharpen my creative skills in my field of choice. I felt like I finally had a platform to showcase my talent as we get a lot of opportunities to do so. I have discovered and still in the process of discovering various sides of myself and I'm really grateful for that.

Time spent at Amity University, Mumbai campus was the best time of my life. We have wonderful faculties who are very cooperative and helpful especially when the going gets tough. We constantly get opportunities to enhance our skills through countless workshops, webinars and internships. Apart from academic knowledge building, ASFT department offers various opportunities to enjoy our college days and enhance our extra-curricular skills too.

I didn't know how much I adored fashion and art until I joined ASFT. I have made a lot of memories in these years of my college life. It was the 'positive criticism' that I received from my faculties and friends, which helped me grow and do better. I loved the times when we had workshops, when we attended Bombay Times Fashion Week in 2020, when we worked together preparing for competitions and our Ami-Trendz club events. I've received immense help from my faculties, whenever I was stuck. ASFT is like a family where we fight together when things go haywire and always have each other's back.

I joined Amity with the belief that I will become a self-assured and a motivated designer. And now, I can definitely see the changes in me through all these years. I did face difficulty at times because it’s tough to keep your creativity at 100% all the time, but with the comfort and support from my faculties and friends, I was able to evolve constantly into a better version of myself. I have had a lot to learn from here and I am still looking forward to seeing how else I can better myself.

In all my days at Amity School of Fashion Technology, it was all about learning something new and creative every day. I did not have any previous experience and knowledge about the fashion field. But with ASFT I am learning something new every day. Very interesting thing about ASFT is that all the faculties and staff members are very friendly. All the facilities like CAD lab, dyeing lab and stitching rooms are always available for us and well-equipped. It was a very good experience I got with ASFT.
