Debate on Youth Issue

Objective of organizing this event was to give students the opportunity to think deeply about depression and drug use in youth and to introduce them to the art of debating.

The students learn to thoroughly research a topic, recognize the complexity and various aspects of the question at hand in addition to preparing a convincing debate. This includes interacting with and listening to their opponents’ positions, while skillfully integrating their own arguments in to the debate with the goal of making a convincing overall impression.

Extempore Speech

Objective of organizing this event was to give students the opportunity to understand the various challenges in an extempore speech, and how to manage these challenges through a superior performance. An extempore speech is an impromptu speech which the candidate is required to make on a topic given there and then. No prior preparation is permissible.

Salute Women for Empowering Every Individual

Objective of organizing this event was to celebrate International Women’s day.  It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity and rally for women's equality.

We feel pleased, and it makes it more energetic to save our motherland from any attack on the country’s dignity and sovereignty.

Smart Building Material WEBINAR

Smart materials are materials that are manipulated to respond in a controllable and reversible way, modifying some of their properties as a result of external stimuli such as certain mechanical stress or a certain temperature, among others.

Smart materials technology enables us to adapt to environmental changes by activating its functions. Multifunctional materials, sort of smart materials, can be activated by electrical stimuli so as to produce its geometry change or property change.

The event was concluded with the faculty’s coordinator remarks that further motivated the students to keep participating in events in the future to explore their talents and have a stage to present them for a brighter future ahead.

Future Focused Lecture Series  Lecture 1

The event was hosted by Debaroti Sammanit (Vice-President, Colossal Club), it proceeded like a session of the interview that had questions regarding the importance of higher studies, the importance of certain software applications that the probable audience must pay heed to in their undergrad years to have a good grip over the basics to help them further in higher studies as well as job arena. He also mentioned the importance of a research-based approach towards studying, learning about how to design the research papers, and also working under important specifications to continue to pursue them in their higher studies. Along with this Mr. Mirza has also given his insights over how life and way of education are there in Scotland at present.  He also added the world of international education is a melting pot of individuals and learning with a global perspective ensures students are exposed to different cultures, ethnic groups, religions, and languages, enriching society in the process and broadening the academic experience for everyone.

It also, of course, establishes a multicultural learning environment which makes it the ideal setting for increasing students’ cultural awareness and fostering their understanding and appreciation of those who come from a different background to their own.
