Workshop on Microscopy and Imaging from operations to applications
Amity Institute of Biotechnology Organized workshop on Microscopy and Imaging from operations to applications between 31st August – 6th September 2021.
The main objective of the workshop was to educate students/researchers/industrial trainees regarding general principles of Microscopy and its applications to experience the comprehensive, qualitative and quantitative profiling of cells imaging and information with high sample throughput using new model of Confocal.
Dr. Mahak Sharma, Scientist, IISER Mohali delivered her talk on Mechanism regulating Cargo delivery to lysosome.
Dr. Prabal Chakraborty, Application Scientist, Towa Optics Ltd. delivered his talk on Confocal to Super Resolution Microscope, Microscopy Techniques: Optical and Electron Microscopy
Dr. Purnimar Kumar, Confocal Incharge, Biotechnologist, ICGEB delivered her talk on Components, Operation & software of Confocal Microscope.
Dr. AmarPal Singh, Staff Scinetist IV, NIPGR delivered his talk on Harmonal Crosstalk and Growth Coordination at the Cellular Level during Nutrients Stress in Plants.
This Workshop focused on the different type of Imaging by microscope and application.
Total 23 students and 6 faculties attended the workshop.
