Seminar Series on Synthesis and biological evaluation of imidazoline derivatives as potential CNS and CVS agents
Amity University Haryana organized seminar on Synthesis and biological evaluation of imidazoline derivatives as potential CNS and CVS agents on 16th September for the students of applied sciences.
The main objective of the seminar was to aware students about the various techniques used for conducting research.
Prof. Dr. Seema. R. Pathak , Director, Outcome discussed various research skills and how these skills are helpful to solve every problem in society. Seminar helped students to understand Blooms Taxonomy and its implementation while conducting research to make it more effective. This further enhances the ability to develop new ideas by searching thorough literature. In the seminar the students learnt about types of literature review, some reliable sources of review and importance of literature review. This seminar introduced the students to Boolean Operators and how can t hey help in finding the most appropriate information of research papers. The seminar also made the students understand how they can find pearls (a most useful ) information from the ocean (knowledge).
Students got a lot of creative ideas which would help them to produce better research output and would help in advancement of the world of science with ease.
Total 30 students and 4 faculties attended the seminar.
