Expressed her viewpoints with research that in the coming future there will be more than 85% of jobs in existence which we have not heard of.  She focused her view on misinformation, disinformation, and overloaded information and added that technology can not control us this is only for our benefit, despite all the progress we need empathy, emotional quotient, intelligence quotient, and social quotient, and compassion.

She added more by emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship, she pointed out the changes students have to opt for, as earlier students used to opt for jobs coming from the same courses, later they started to change their career and now they seem to change their career in every 5 years. Considering this there is a big need for entrepreneurs.

Mr. Anshul Pathania, Managing Director, Pathania Public School, Rohtak shared that in the 21st century, There is a lot of skills related to technology. The Medium & media has been changing but middle things will be constant and students should be able to adapt to the change. Leadership & Entrepreneurship must be emphasized in the students to lead the corporate world. We should encourage the students for idea making and give them the platform to implement these ideas.

Ms. Aparna Gautam Panda, Principal, St. John’s School, Faridabad

Mentioned that there are many challenges in making students industry-ready because Indian parents are so much in love with their students, they are over-possessive, over protecting that they don’t allow schools to try new methodologies, to implement new pedagogy. Only good marks are not a sign of holistic development, potential in students and happiness is also important but to parents, at last, marks are more important. She also praised the government for reforming education through NEP. The basic character, the vision of NEP is good and according to skills and employment needed. We must accept the change, She emphasized.

Ms. Deepika Sharma, Principal, Grand Columbus International School, Faridabad

Shared that India’s economy is a reflection of its education system. In today’s time, good student is associated with good marks only, this must change to improve skills according to employment. NEP is a very good concept, a must need but proper implementation is a must. Since there is a huge displacement amongst all stakeholders it will be very hard to implement. Vocational training is very important as there is no balance as of now between what is required and what is delivered.
