A Workshop by ASAP on September 5, 2024
Amity School of Architecture and Planning organised a workshop on 3D Mural Making on September 5, 2024. This experience not only enhanced their creative skills but also introduced them to the practicalities of working with alternative, eco-friendly materials.
The aim of the activity was to help students understand the usage of paper mache as a versatile material and to guide them in creating a 3D mural using this medium. By engaging in a hands-on project, the students were expected to explore the artistic and practical applications of paper mache in both traditional and modern contexts. In conclusion, the session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of paper mache as a composite material, including its preparation and various uses in arts and crafts. Through the faculty's guidance, the students learned about its affordability and significance in different cultural and artistic activities.
