An Awareness Program on “Anti-Drug Awareness Rally” was organised by AIBAS on 13 May 2026. The event strengthened participants' understanding of the psychological, social, and behavioural consequences of substance abuse while promoting healthy lifestyle choices, self-discipline, and mental well-being.
The Anti-Drug Awareness Rally was organized to create awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and substance use while promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. It aimed to encourage social responsibility and active participation in preventing substance abuse, foster positive behavioural and mental well-being practices, spread awareness regarding the prevention of illegal drug use and supply, and guide students towards making informed life choices and exploring constructive career pathways.
The Anti-Drug Awareness Rally concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students, who actively spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse through banners, placards, and community engagement. It also encouraged social responsibility, informed decision-making, and collective action towards preventing substance abuse, reinforcing the importance of building a safe, healthy, and drug-free society.
