Investing in research is investing in future. For a sustained effort towards improving the quality of life (QoL) and mental health of people, research and development is considered imperative at AIBAS. Research lead teaching and training is considered to be a vital and integral part of activities carried out by the faculty and students at the Institute. Faculties have advanced the agenda of conducting socially relevant behavioural researches having high-implied value. The vibrancy of researches is reflected in the multi-speciality research activities undertaken at the Institute in the areas of Health Psychology, Abnormal & Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Positive Psychology, Organizational & Industrial Psychology, Social Work etc. The successes of these researches may be attributed to the team of highly qualified and competent faculty trained at various renowned universities across India, who seeks to encourage a rich exchange of ideas and experiences.

Being part of a research-driven university, AIBAS endeavors to develop skills needed to conduct high-quality research and publish papers in journals of repute. All AIBAS students participate in a research-based activity supervised by the experienced faculty members. The faculties at AIBAS have so far published in more than 60 peer-reviewed International and National journal of repute. Faculties at AIBAS are also the editorial board members and reviewers of various national and international indexed journals. Students and faculty jointly strive to develop, innovate and patent business viable ideas. At least two business viable ideas have got patented and very soon will be rolled out in the market for social good. Faculties also provide consultancy and technical support to the reputed organizations and government Institutions. Apart from scientific publications in journals and books; faculty, students and alumni of AIBAS consistently write in various mass media platforms such as newspapers, blogs, online magazines etc.
