A Day with Excellence in Environment and Health Sciences- an event organized by AUH on 10th January, 2024
Amity Institute of Integrative Sciences and Health, Amity Centre of Excellence in Ocean-Atmospheric Science and Technology (ACOAST) and Amity Academic Staff College, Amity University Haryana hosted an event titled, "A Day with Excellence in Environment and Health Sciences," on 10th January, 2024.
Facilitated by Hon'ble VC Prof PB Sharma and Prof. (Dr.) Qamar Rehman, the event aimed to foster collaboration between the university and experts from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and Oregon State University. The luminaries, including Dr. Rick Woychik, Dr. Srikanth S. Nadadur, and Prof. Robyn Tanguay, shared insights on climate change's impact on human health. The program addressed environmental challenges, emphasizing the link between environmental health and human well-being.
In conclusion, the event created a platform for collaboration and research initiatives, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to address global environmental issues. The participants gained exposure to cutting-edge research and were motivated to contribute to solutions for air and water pollution.
