A Conference by Amity Centre for BRICS and ASLA on 26th February, 2024
Amity Centre for BRICS studies and Amity School of Language in collaboration with Asiatic Research Institute, Korea University, organised a conference on the end of American hegemony and the proliferation of geopolitics, geoeconomics, and minilateralism.
The conference at Amity University aimed to produce the Global Hegemony Index. It calculated G20 countries' national power to understand changing hegemonic competitions. Gathering collaborators from six countries and Indian experts, it focused on BRICS, Indo-Pacific strategies, India's military, economic power, and key issues in twenty-first-century international relations.
In conclusion, the conference served as a crucial platform for researchers and experts from various countries to collaborate on producing the Global Hegemony Index. By focusing on understanding changing hegemonic competitions and key issues in international relations, the conference contributed significantly to advancing knowledge in this field.
