Call for Articles, Commentaries, and Analytical Pieces on BRICS
Amity Centre for BRICS Studies, Amity University Haryana, invites submissions for the upcoming issue of BRICS Perspective: biannual Mazagine of the Amity Centre for BRICS Studies scheduled to be published in July 2025, focusing on various aspects of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and BRICS plus (Egypt, Iran, UAE, Ethiopia and Indonesia) countries. As an influential alliance of emerging economies, BRICS plays a significant role in shaping global economic policies, political dynamics, and development agendas. This becomes more relevant in the wake of ongoing geopolitical tension and conflicts and its impact on the world economy, trade and supply chain.
BRICS Plus, with its increased geopolitical significance, has the potential to wield greater leverage in shaping global economic policies and challenging traditional power structures. The diversity within expanded BRICS enriches the economic discourse and provides opportunities for shared learning and collaboration.
Within this context, we are looking for thought-provoking articles, insightful commentaries, and in-depth analytical pieces that explore various facets of BRICS.
Economic Impact: Analysis of BRICS plus collective economic influence on global markets, trade, and investment.
Political Dynamics: Examination of the political relationships within BRICS plus and their influence on international diplomacy and global governance.
Development Strategies: Exploration of development projects and initiatives spearheaded by BRICS plus countries, including infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
Geopolitical Significance: Insights into how BRICS reshapes geopolitical alliances and power structures.
Environmental Policies: Evaluation of BRICS’ stance on climate change, sustainable development, and environmental cooperation.
Language, Cultural and Social Interactions: Study of language interactions, cultural exchanges, social policies, and the impact on civil society within BRICS nations.
Science and technology: Exploring the niche areas of cooperation and collaboration in the field of science and technological among BRICS plus countries.
Prospects: Predictions and scenarios for the future trajectory of BRICS plus in the evolving global order.
Length: Articles should be between 1500-2000 words. Commentaries and shorter analytical pieces should be 800 to 1000 words.
Format: Submissions should be in Word format, 12-point Times New Roman, single-spaced.
Abstract: 100-150 words
References: Use APA style for citations and references.
Author’s Bio: Provide a short bio (50-100 words) including your current affiliation, areas of expertise and photograph.
