Research and development is another significant feature at Amity School of Communication. The school has been publishing a regular bi-annual international peer reviewed journal titled Amity Journal of Media and Communication Studies since 2011.
Research based international and national conference and seminars are a regular feature at ASCO. The institute has hosted 3 international Conferences, 1 national conferences and 2 international film festivals in addition to around 100 workshops & guest lectures.

As a mark of research acumen the faculties of ASCO contribute original research work in various areas of media and communication studies. The research contributions of the faculty members have been published in the most prestigious national and international research journals. Many of the faculties have contributed to the body of knowledge through the publication of text and reference books. In addition the faculty members are also associated with many national and international academic research bodies and organization in various capacities.
