Webinar on Cancer Prevention
It has always been said that, “Health is Wealth” and as a mark of a noble endeavour in the direction of creating widespread awareness about the “Tips to Lead a Healthy Life and Cancer Prevention“, Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in association with Amity University Rajasthan organized an Interactive Webinar on the topic, “Tips for Healthy Life & Cancer Prevention” on 27th Nov 2020 at 3:00PM.
Special Guest of the session was Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain, honorable Pro President, AUR and the distinguished Speaker of the Session was Dr. Lalit Mohan Sharma, Senior Cancer Specialist, Medical Oncology Department, BMCHRC, Jaipur.
Dr. Jain delivering the welcome address highlighted the relentless efforts of Amity University Rajasthan in ensuring the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of the students through some of its unique endeavours like organizing Military Training Camp to inculcate the values of punctuality and discipline in the lives of students and organizing Havan to welcome the new students in the campus.
Dr. Lalit discussed about the significance of proper diet and leading a healthy lifestyle in the lives of each human being. The session was extremely beneficial as it drew the attention of the participants towards some of the deadly habits which although very common but can be very fatal and dangerous finally leading to the death of a person. The webinar was an eye opener for many as it made the participants realize what are the Do’s and Dont’s of leading a healthy and tension free life. Dr. Lalit also dealt with some of the most common cases of cancer and their leading causes and what are the useful steps towards its prevention.
