Established in 2014, Amity Institute of Liberal Arts (AILA) firmly believes in achieving nation-building through education. The institute prepares students to become well-rounded individuals with a commitment to public service and works towards issues that resonate in the contemporary world. The institute provides a plethora of opportunities for the students to engage in creative thinking, critical analysis, and a thorough understanding of the complexities of society and human existence. The experiential learning methodology inspires students to deliberate, discuss, converse, contest, conceptualise, reinvent, transform, and create systems for the well-being of society. Discussions and debates include plural, different, and multiple viewpoints, perspectives, ideas, concepts, interpretations, and thought processes.

The inter-disciplinary approach of academic programmes motivates students to strive to build an inclusive, egalitarian, and gender-sensitive space where human values are cherished and dissent can thrive without inhibition. Students of liberal arts programmes grow as socially responsible and empowered citizens through active learning as well as participation in co-curricular activities.
