Dr. Manoj Devare is a senior academic and research leader in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, currently serving as Professor and Head of Institute at the Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Maharashtra, Mumbai. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bharati Vidayapeeth Pune (NIRF Rank 59) and international research exposure of Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Calabria, Italy (Ranked 601-800 in THE World University Ranking), he provides strategic leadership in research, academic governance, and AIIT institutional quality enhancement.
His research interests span Machine Learning, Image Processing, Digital Image Forensics, Big Data Analytics, Cloud and DevOps Technologies, with publications in reputed journals and conferences. As a PhD supervisor, Chair of the Board of Studies, Secretary of IQAC, and Nodal Officer for global and national rankings such as QS, THE, and ARIIA, Dr. Devare has played a pivotal role in strengthening research culture, accreditation outcomes, and global visibility of his institution. He is also actively engaged in mentoring faculty and students, organizing international conferences, reviewing scholarly work, and aligning academic programs with emerging technological and industry trends, thereby contributing significantly to research excellence.
He is having 16 IPRs in his credits, along with 42 Scopus indexed publications, and 18 WOS indexed Papers. Four PhD scholars completed their PhD under his supervision and currently, he is guiding 8 PhD scholars. He has successfully completed one Research project funded by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.
