Photography Competition, screening of videos based on Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and Cultural Program was organized by “YUVA Tourism Club”, Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism on 28th September 2022 at Amity University Maharashtra.
A total of 18 photographs and short films based on Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav were displayed at the completion held to mark the celebration of Iconic Week of Azaadi of Amrut Mahotsav of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Team Amity School of Fine Arts bagged the best short film award and Ms. Pooja Purty of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism won the best photography award. The winners were provided with Incredible India Merchandise which included Mugs and T-Shirts.
Videos on the theme of Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav were shown to the students of Amity University, Mumbai highlighting the importance of celebration of Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the role of youth in India’s development, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and the importance of cleanliness in educational institutions and tourism destinations.
The final part of the day started with cultural performances by the students of the Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism. Bhangra, Lavani, and folk songs were performed by the students. The day ended with a cultural ramp walk by all the students dressed in their traditional attire showcasing various states and cultures of India.
