An online quiz cum webinar was organized by United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Indiatourism Mumbai- Western Regional Office of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Nature- India to mark the celebrations of World Environment Day and World Oceans Day on 8th June 2023 for YUVA Tourism Clubs of Western and Central region of India . Yuva Tourism Club of schools, colleges and universities participated in the competition from the Western and Central region of India. The YUVA Tourism Club of Amity Insititute of Travel and Tourism, Amity University, Mumbai also participated in the same.

World Wildlife Fund for Nature- India and United Nations Environment Programme in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has invited the YUVA Tourism Club of Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism to be a part of TIDE TURNERS PLASTIC CHALLENGE which is the world's largest youth-led movement to reduce plastic waste. The objective of the initiative is to drive youth towards beach clean-up activities, reduce plastic waste and creating awareness.
