A Legal Awareness Programme with distribution of pamphlets in 9 villages took place by students of Amity Law School Mumbai, Maharashtra’s Paralegal Volunteers - Ms. Riddhi Munoth, Mr. Girish Ambapkar, Ms. Priya Nair & Mr. Pulkit Awasthi.
The session was taken on the Schemes of Legal Aid Services and how each one is entitled to free and true legal aid services on 05/10/2021. The session was in focus with various strata of society giving them various knowledge about poverty, sexual assault and exploitation, disaster management etc.
The core principles, anthem of NALSA and the thought of Free legal services to all was shared with everyone. Since many women were from the "Mahila Bachat Gat" - the biggest example of this sector in India about the "Lijjat Papad Company" was explained to them and brought in confidence about how women can help and act as a role person in making the society bring revolutionary changes.
The idea behind sharing the pamphlets to the villagers was "each one - teach one". All the PLVs explained this small task like method to each villager that if one person of the village is explaining these concepts and schemes to minimum 1 person of the village and the same chain continues then there will be no village in this country who would not know about the services provided by the judiciary.
The sessions were boosted by the questions asked by the audience who were satisfied with the qualitative answers from the volunteers. Extensive support from villagers from Kon, Ajivali, Arivali, Kasallhand, Ashte, Shivajinagar, Fanaswadi, Bhatan & Bhatan Pada made the session a fruitful one. Likewise timely support of the Gramsevak of each village made the session more interactive and live.

A Legal Awareness Programme on the Rights of Elderly took place in the premises of Panvel Tehsil Office by students of Amity Law School Mumbai, Maharashtra’s Paralegal Volunteers - Mr. Girish Ambapkar and Ms. Priya Nair.
The session started with speech from senior advocate Mr. Anil Jadhav following which PLV – Mr. Girish Ambapkar spoke in depth about various schemes and rights of the elderly. Tehsildar Mr. Vijay Talekar’s presence brought more light to the session.
Various members from the elderly society were present to attend the session. Many villagers from the nearby villages were invited to attend the session. Extensive support from members of Panvel Bar Association and Tehsil office Panvel was noteworthy.

An Awareness Programme on Stress Management and Mental Health Awareness took place by students of Amity Law School Mumbai, Maharashtra’s Paralegal Volunteers - Ms. Riddhi Munoth, Mr. Girish Ambapkar & Mr. Vineet Malpani & Panvel Bar Association.
The session was taken on the how daily life stress and various disorders lead to an unhealthy life and working environment on 11/10/2021. Stress should be a powerful driving force, not an obstacle, The session was in focus with various real life examples and stories defining how these stress related disorders complicate matters in and around us. The session began with the introduction of Dr. Rahul Bhatambre, Consultant Neuro-Psychiatrist & Swapnil Bhopi, Clinical Psychologist by PLV - Ms. Riddhi Munoth and discussing in brief about how COVID has impacted lives. Furthermore, Dr. Rahul explained what exactly is stress and how to deal with it in the healthiest manner. Mr. Swapnil gave an insight about various disorders and a social stigma attached to these and the session was concluded with a healthy breathing exercise to calm every advocate present in the hall.
Vote of thanks were given be Adv. Indrajit Bhosale. The session's highlights were the insightful questions asked by various advocates who made the session worthwhile. Extensive support from Judges of Senior & Junior Division, District & Sessions Court Panvel along with Amity Law School & Members of Panvel Bar Association made the session a truly enlightening one.

The session was taken on various aspects of law and society that women and girl child face on daily basis like good touch bad touch, instances of Child Sexual Abuse, explanation of POCSO, health workplace environment and in-depth information about Sexual Harassment at Workplace.
The session was insightfully organised in the premises of V.K. High School with girls from various grades. With an aspiring and warm welcome from the principal and other faculty members of the school, the session was started by PLV - Ms. Riddhi Munoth who gave information about good touch bad touch and further explained instances and importance of POCSO. In addition, PLV - Mr. Girish gave insight about workplace environment and safety. PLV - Mr. Pulkit gave an overview about the importance of NALSA and how the real meaning of justice for all is implemented in this Pan India Awareness Programme.
The session's highlight was in depth information by Mrs. A.A. Godse, Civil Judge Senior Division who summarised all the information and won the hearts of all the girls around.Likewise, a strong support from faculty members and staff of V.K. High School made this session a memorable and informative one.

An Awareness Programme on Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganized Sector took place by students of Panvel Bar Association & Amity Law School Mumbai, Maharashtra’s PLV - Ms. Riddhi Munoth, Mr. Saurabh Ghagh & Mr. Pulkit Awasthi on 18/10/2021.
The session began with a general overview of NALSA and the importance of justice system and how every element of the society is benefitted out of it.
In continuation, PLV - Ms. Riddhi gave opening remarks with understanding about the rights of workers and how it is important to understand these rights and not let anyone misuse them. The session then was taken in Depth by Adv. Madan Gowari who connected with the workers by giving their daily life examples and gave an assurance that he will be available with them anytime they need an Assistance.
The session was conducted fruitfully with great support from Panvel Bar Association & Krushi Utpan Bazar Samiti, Panvel.
