The Moot court society at Amity Law School, Noida, plays a vital role in preparing students for the rigors of legal practice and research. It fosters the development of articulate, analytical, and skilled future legal professionals through structured training and guidance. The Society offers mentorship to students participating in moot court competitions, equipping them for both national and international platforms. It conducts practice moots, provides constructive feedback, and shares strategic insights to enhance performance.
A key initiative under its umbrella is the Moot Court Advocacy & Skill Enhancement Cell (MCASEC). Dedicated to promoting clinical legal education, MCASEC serves as a dynamic platform for students to cultivate mooting and advocacy skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for industry demands. The Cell regularly organizes workshops, seminars, and training sessions led by eminent legal professionals and academicians. These sessions aim to deepen students' understanding of legal principles, sharpen courtroom conduct, and strengthen public speaking abilities.
The Society also hosts flagship events such as the Intra Moot Court Competition, the Amity International Moot Court Competition, and the Indian Qualifying Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, offering students valuable exposure and experience at prestigious levels.
Established nearly 15 years ago, the Gender Justice and Child Rights Club is a dynamic initiative committed to promoting gender equality and child rights through community outreach, advocacy, and academic engagement. Rooted in the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) – Gender Equality – the club upholds the pledge of “Leave No One Behind” by striving to eliminate discrimination across all genders and fostering inclusive societal progress.
The club’s primary objective is to empower the younger generation to become advocates for gender justice by fast-tracking efforts toward equality and equity. Over the years, it has organized a diverse range of impactful activities including international conferences, seminars, panel discussions, elocution contests, and academic conclaves. A distinctive focus is placed on encouraging innovative research in gender studies, with several book publications and funded projects to its credit, including collaborations for consultations and conferences.
Each semester, the club conducts at least four major activities—two at the institutional level such as exhibitions, blended learning initiatives, expert talks, and colloquies; one at the university level involving group discussions, article writing competitions, or workshops; and one national-level initiative such as an international conference or elocution competition. Among its flagship events, the club celebrates International Women’s Day through impactful community outreach programs, including training sessions, symposiums, and public talks, and organizes university-wide celebrations in the form of conclaves, award ceremonies, and thematic events that engage stakeholders across academia and society.
The Hindi Vidhik Bhasa Mandal is the pioneer society working towards the upliftment of Hindi language and also working in course to provide insightful education on legal Hindi as an important subject for the budding lawyers. Under this society different types of activities are carried out to propagate the use of Hindi in the legal profession.
It organizes a variety of academic and cultural events each year, including the Essay Writing Competition, Debate Competition, National Hindi Day, International Hindi Day, Kavi Sammelan, and Udbhav 2024, among others.
It is important to note that the foundational objective behind the establishment of the Hindi Manch is to strengthen not only the role of Hindi but also the constitutional status and legal relevance of all Indian languages within the justice delivery system.
The Concept of culture and academic are integral to any effective teaching. The blending of cultural heritage and modern teaching concepts forms a strong base in academic abstraction and lived social realities. In order to allow the students to adapt to the extra co-curricular requirements of today’s modern hyperactive globalised World ALSN from the beginning of its inception, promoted the blending of culture and academics.
ALSN officially in the year 2008 established the cultural club, the thriving of cultural club from past seventeen years positioned, ALSN as a centre of intellectual and artistic excellence. By integrating art, music, theatre, and literature into campus life, ALSN created a balanced enriching educational ecosystem, fostering personal growth and social responsibility, reflecting a commitment to the holistic development of students. The cultural club at ALSN is continuously engaged in organising various holistic and enriching events. The cultural club on annual basis organises Institutional Fresher’s, Institutional Farewell & ALSN Alumni Sports & Cultural Meet. Along with the same organised a plethora of events such as a Panel Discussion on “'The Courtroom: Cinema vs Reality” in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video, Legal Drama-Guilty Minds at Amity Law School, Noida, Amity University, AUUP in 2022. The event was one of the flagship events of Cultural Club, ALSN.
Apart from these mega-events, the cultural club actively organized many motivational webinars- Enhancing Co-curricular Activities, Maintaining Effective Professional and Personal Relationships, training workshops-Ask Manu, poster exhibitions celebrating the birth Anniversaries of our freedom fighters-Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Azadi Ki Shaurya Gatha, commemoration Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji-400th Birth Anniversary , “Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav” and The World Social Justice Day (2022, 2024 & 2025). Encouraging students to cultivate leadership, teamwork and communication skills beyond academics. The presence of culture club enhances the ALSN reputation through diversity, creativity and student engagement. The students of Amity Law school, Noida are encouraged to develop their creative interest by participating in many cultural performances, such as fresher’s, farewell, street-plays, traditional art, music and dance. They are further motivated to widen their spectrum and are persuade to participate and represent the institution at external college and universities fests organised throughout India. The enthusiastic and multitalented students of Amity Law school, Noida has represented institution at very prestigious fest and earned accolades in form of certificates and trophies organised by the NLU-New Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, Symbiosis-Noida, Christ University-NCR, BITS Pillani, University of Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Humdard, IMT Nagpur and various others reputable universities of India further making Amity Law, School, Noida, more appealing to prospective law students and faculty throughout the academic World.
Verbum Bellum, the Debate Society of Amity Law School Noida, has been a dynamic platform for over fifteen years, dedicated to cultivating public speaking, critical thinking, and informed discourse among budding legal professionals. Through a wide array of activities—ranging from debates and group discussions to workshops and national-level competitions—the society empowers students to express ideas with clarity and confidence.
Its flagship event, the Verbum Bellum National Debate Competition, draws participants from across the country, while regular events such as the Republic Day Debate, Independence Day Debate, International Women’s Day Group Discussion, and the Fresher’s Debate foster a vibrant debating culture within the institution.

It was founded under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar. The purpose of this cell is to promote clinical legal education for the law students by offering them practical exposure through activities such as legal counseling, court representation, and community engagement, to serve the marginalized communities by providing legal assistance & support and to promote justice, equality and awareness of legal rights through dedicated outreach activities.
The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society of Amity Law School, Noida, is a dynamic student-driven initiative committed to promoting the importance and practical relevance of dispute resolution mechanisms beyond traditional litigation. With a focus on arbitration, mediation, negotiation, and client counselling, the society consistently works to bridge the gap between legal education and practical skill-building.
The society regularly organizes workshops, intra and inter-college competitions, and expert-led sessions to equip students with practical insights into ADR processes. Notable events include the Intra ADR Tournament, featuring competitions such as Med-Arb, Arbitral Award Writing, Negotiation, and Client Counselling, as well as specialized workshops led by ADR experts and professionals
With strong participation from students across all law programmes and guidance from experienced professionals and mentors, the ADR Society continues to cultivate a culture of constructive dialogue, legal professionalism, and dispute resolution excellence at ALSN.
The Student Bar Forum at Amity Law School, Noida, focuses on nurturing students' legal skills and intellectual growth. It manages mooting activities and organizes events like Moot Court Competitions, Legal Quizzes, and Trial Advocacy Tournaments. Since 2013, it has proudly hosted India’s only Hindi Moot Court Competition and launched the Trial Advocacy Tournament in 2021. With a dedicated team of over 150 students, the Forum promotes active participation and excellence in national and international competitions, helping future lawyers build strong courtroom skills.
It is a dynamic initiative designed to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. The cell serves as a platform to support and guide individuals interested in turning their ideas into viable business ventures or innovative solutions.
Vision and Mission
The primary vision of the I&E Cell ALSN is to inspire and nurture students to think creatively, identify real-world problems, and work towards solving them through innovation and entrepreneurship. The mission is to provide mentorship and training to help students and aspiring entrepreneurs translate their ideas into practical, sustainable solutions.
Activities and Initiatives:
Since its inception, the I&E Cell at ALSN has played a crucial role in nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of students, resulting in the creation of several student-led startups and innovations. The initiatives and activities organized by the cell have also led to increased awareness of entrepreneurship within the campus, creating an ecosystem where students are encouraged to explore new ideas and entrepreneurial opportunities. Several activities organised by the I&E Cell of ALSN in the academic year 2024-25 viz. Guest Lecture by one of the Ex- student of ALSN on “How to plan for a Start Up – Legal and Ethical Steps”, guest lecture for the students by one of the advocate on how to structure a legal research paper, one of the sessions in 6th ICEIL on the theme Impact of AI on the Legal Framework of the Make in India and Digital India Programmes where several guests of National and International repute were invited.
The I&E Cell of ALSN serves as a vital hub for students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial aspirations. Through its various programs and resources, it enables students to take the first steps toward becoming successful entrepreneurs, while simultaneously contributing to the growth of the startup ecosystem in the region.
