Amity University Alumni Meet 2025 – North America Coming Home to Where It All Began

The Amity University Alumni Meet 2025 – North America was a heartwarming and highly engaging event held in hybrid mode at FDU Silberman College of Business, New Jersey, offering a wonderful opportunity for 30+ alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, peers, and mentors. The event was a celebration of legacy, leadership, and lifelong connections that span the globe.

The session commenced with a gracious and heartfelt welcome by Ms. Savita Arora, Vice President – Strategic and U.S. Operations. She extended her deep appreciation to the alumni for their unwavering connection with Amity University and provided an insightful overview of the institution’s ever-expanding global footprint. She eloquently reflected on Amity’s dynamic international growth, emphasizing the establishment of its prestigious 170-acre campus in New York, and the resounding success of transformative academic initiatives such as the Explore America Program and the 3 Continent Study Program. She proudly shared the upcoming launch of the Harrow School within the United States in Fall 2025, as part of Amity’s commitment to delivering global-standard education.

Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Noida, Uttar Pradesh, addressed the gathering with warmth and pride, reflecting on the university’s remarkable transformation how Amity began with just one higher education institution at Noida and two schools in Delhi and Noida, which has now evolved into a dynamic global education group with 12 universities in India and 28 schools across 16 countries.

She stated “Amitians are different. They think beyond themselves — for society, the nation, and the world. The spirit of Amity lives within you wherever you go. You can take an Amitian out of Amity, but you cannot take Amity out of an Amitian.”

The event featured a passionate and deeply emotional address by Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, who proudly highlighted the presence of Amity alumni across top global firms such as Google, Amazon, Oracle, PwC, Honeywell, Walmart, KPMG, Accenture, NYU and many others. These distinguished professionals / alumni, he stated, carry the Amity spirit forward through their leadership, innovation, and service to society. He described them as “Amity Champions,” proud torchbearers of the institution’s values and excellence.

He shared a heartfelt message from the Hon’ble Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, whose visionary leadership and unwavering blessings continue to inspire the Amity community:

“Our Hon’ble Founder President holds each one of you close to his heart. Even today, he prays earnestly for your success and well-being. His lifelong dream has been to see Amitians excel across the globe, and your achievements bring him immense pride and fulfilment.”

A significant highlight of the meet was the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chancellors Dr. Aseem Chauhan and Dr. Atul Chauhan, who graced the occasion virtually and shared inspiring address. Their participation was a moment of great pride and motivation for the entire Amity family, reaffirming the values and vision that have shaped the institution's legacy.

Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Aseem Chauhan opened his remarks with heartfelt appreciation for the alumni and their achievements, noting how their success across industries reflects the core strengths of Amity’s education model. He quoted “It is truly moving to witness how far you’ve come—and how deeply you still carry the spirit of Amity within you.” He recalled a defining moment of Amity’s global vision and said “I remember walking through Times Square in the late 1990s with Dr. Gurinder Singh and Dr. Atul Chauhan and saying, ‘One day, Amity will be respected not just in India but across the world.’ Today, your presence and success make that vision a reality.”

He acknowledged alumni as brand ambassadors of the university, strengthening its global identity and respect through their values and excellence. He reaffirmed Amity’s commitment to nurturing global citizens and emphasized that the values and ethics taught at Amity are what set its alumni apart in every field and every country. He said “You are, and will always remain, part of the Amity family. Let’s continue to walk together in building a world defined by excellence, compassion, and unity.”

Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan delivered an equally heartfelt and motivating address that highlighted the emotional connection between the university and its alumni.

He said “Watching your transformation from young students to global leaders fills us with immense pride. It reminds us that education is not just about knowledge—it is about shaping lives.”

He spoke passionately about the sense of family, belongingness, and support that unites the Amity alumni network, appreciating willingness where senior alumni help new graduates settle abroad—offering guidance, mentorship, and even airport pickups. He quoted “This is not just a professional network; it’s a family. And that is Amity’s greatest strength.”

Reflecting on the vision of Hon’ble Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, he spoke of the pioneering introduction of foreign languages, international exposure, and strong moral grounding into the curriculum. He said the pillars of a visionary education system that began with just 100 students and now supports over 700,000 alumni and students worldwide. He said “Our Founder President always believed in empowering students with a global outlook and a deep-rooted value system. That vision lives on in every Amitian.”

He concluded with a heartfelt tribute to the Hon’ble Founder President, who had joined the session virtually and remained online throughout, listening to every word and blessing every participant.

“Our Founder President, Dr. Ashok Chauhan ji, has been with us during this session. He sends his blessings to each of you. And I have always seen — those who carry his blessings go on to achieve extraordinary things in life.”

Hon’ble Chancellor’s address served as a reminder of Amity’s purpose — not just to educate, but to transform lives through a foundation of values, global vision, and lifelong family bonds.

 

The hybrid format of the event allowed alumni to join both physically and virtually, reaffirming the strength and adaptability of the Amity alumni network. Across time zones and locations, attendees celebrated their memories, growth, and the foundational experiences that began at Amity.

The event was further enriched by alumni who came forward to share their inspiring success stories. Many spoke of how Amity’s holistic education model—particularly the SAP (Study Abroad Program) and the renowned Three Continent Program—helped broaden their horizons, sharpen their global mindset, and build resilience in an international environment. Alumni from various industries shared how the international exposure, sangathan, international conferences, mentorship from faculty, and real-world learning experiences at Amity laid the foundation for their current accomplishments.

They expressed deep gratitude to their professors, mentors, and the leadership of Amity University for providing a world-class learning platform that empowered them to grow professionally and personally.

In recognition of exceptional professional accomplishments and continued engagement with the university, a selected group of alumni were presented with the prestigious 'Alumni Achiever Award'. These honour’s recognized outstanding contributions across fields and served as a beacon of inspiration for fellow Amitians.

As the event concluded, a profound sense of pride, belonging, and emotional connection filled everyone’s heart. Alumni left the meet feeling more deeply connected to their roots and more determined than ever to carry forward Amity’s mission of transforming lives and contributing meaningfully to society.

It was announced that Amity Alumni meets shall continue to be hosted across global cities — including London, Singapore, Mauritius, Dubai, and Melbourne — showcasing Amity University’s growing global legacy and its proud family of changemakers shaping the future of our world.
