BA(J&MC)
Batch: 2021-24

Amity School of Communication, Amity University Haryana, provided me with an outstanding foundation in journalism and mass communication during my BA-J&MC from 2021 to 2024. My college experience was truly transformative. During my time at university, I not only gained in-depth knowledge in my field of study but also developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  My faculty has been very cooperative and understanding throughout my course. We also got opportunities to attend different types of events outside the University. Engaging with professors and peers from different backgrounds broadened my perspective and enhanced my communication skills. The opportunities for internships, workshops, and seminars equipped me with practical knowledge and real-world experience be it in journalism, editing, film production, photography etc. Overall, my college experience instilled in me confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning and self-improvement.

MAJMC
Batch: 2020 – 22

Graduating in MAJMC program from Amity School of Communication, Amity University  Haryana was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The programme's blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application equipped me with the essential tools to navigate the dynamic landscape of modern media.

The faculty at ASCO played a crucial role in my development as a journalist. Their dedication to teaching and their real-world experience brought a wealth of insights into the classroom. They were always approachable, offering guidance and mentorship that went beyond academic learning.

One of the standout features of the programme was the emphasis on hands-on experience. From writing and editing articles for the university's news platform to participating in internships at leading media outlets, these opportunities were pivotal in building my confidence and skill set. The chance to cover live events and conduct interviews with public figures gave me a real taste of the journalistic profession.

MJMC(ASCOM), 2013-2015
Senior producer (Non-Fiction shows), Of-Beat Media Guide

Looking back at that time brings back all the good memories. What a bittersweet journey it was! Being a part of Amity was the best decision I ever made, it changed my life completely. I was very shy and reserved in nature but those two years brought the best out of me and I am much more confident now. MJMC indeed a very challenging course but all our ASCOM faculty made it easier for us and it’s too much fun. If I  get a chance to go back in time I will choose Amity all over again.

B.Sc A&VG, 2015-18
Sr. Animation executive, Landscape outsource marketing

So it all started in the year 2015, when I had to make my career choice and hence my college. Everyone have their own doubts and questions about the place where they are going to spend their next 3 yrs which are most crucial years of their life. I am happy that I made the right move as Amity delivered what it promised. The faculty here is so supportive and friendly, you can approach them anytime of the day and they were always willing to answer, be it questions or be it guidance.Apart from the cliché teaching methods like lectures and tutorials, we have workshops, open lectures, guest lectures, sessions and all.Overall, it was a great experience, Thanks to Amity.

I've loved everything about the BSc Animation and visual graphics course. With the diverse culture and knowledge that the faculty bring to the table, the students have a lot to learn from every single one of them. I happened to choose graphic design as my core area of interest and was lucky enough to get the support and help I needed from the faculty to be able to specialise in it and make a career out of it. While the faculty have a lot to teach, it also depends on student's to explore, be curious and create new things out of their own interest to succeed in whatever they wish to do. I'm really grateful to all the lecturers who helped and guided me throughout the course; they helped me shape what I am today.

The years I spent here have helped me in developing and nourishing my skills and personality as a person. This has only been possible with immense support we get from our faculties here. Here, we are taught holistically so that we don’t lack in any way later on. The beautiful campus and friends add on to the beautiful time we spend here.
