International Webinar on “Understanding the Cyber Security Issues and Challenges of Cyber Warfare”

 Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior organized an online International Webinar on “International Webinar on Understanding the Cyber Security Issues and Challenges of Cyber Warfare” on 11th December 2021 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The talk was delivered by 3-eminent speakers 

1.      Mr. Raghunath Kulkarni - Senior Technical Leader, Cisco Systems, 
2.      Dr. Abhishek Jain, Cyber Security Solution Architect, Wipro 
3.      Md. Manirul Islam, Director, Institute of Continuing Education, American International University, Bangladesh 
The webinar was organized on Zoom platform online with an objective to meet the learning objectives of Understanding the Cyber Security Issues and Challenges of Cyber Warfare.
Registrations and Participation.
1255 participants from various countries around the globe registered for the event and more than 650 participants attended the webinar.
Session 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
The session was moderated by Dr. Madhavi Dhingra, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, ASET, AUMP. She initiated the session by extending formal welcome to all the participants, all speakers, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, Hon’ble Pro Vice-chancellor Prof (Dr) M.P. Kaushik and Hon’ble Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd), Director ASET by giving introduction of speakers to the participants.
Opening Remarks of the session given by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma.He explained the basic concepts and importance of the Cyber Security.
Mr. Raghunath Kulkarni highlighted different cyber security issues, types of cyber warfare and incident reporting, methods of attacks and mitigation of attacks. Md. Manirul Islam discussed different cyber security courses available in the market and job opportunities for students in the field of Cyber Security. Dr. Abhishek Jain explained critical issues of cyber security and cyberwarfare. He also explained the use of machine learning in case of identifying the attack pattern and mitigation of attacks automatically with the use of latest technologies like SDN and Blockchain. The workshop was followed by question answer session which was taken up by Dr. Subhrendu Guha Neogi & Dr. Samta Jain Goyal, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, coordinators of the event. The summary of event and Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof (Dr). Venkatadri M, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science Engineering and the event was supported by Panellists Hon’ble Pro Vice-chancellor Prof (Dr) M.P. Kaushik and Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, VSM** (Retd) Director ASET. Workshop was appreciated by all the participants.
