As a second-year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) student at Amity University Rajasthan, my journey so far has been truly enriching and transformative. One of the most valuable aspects of my college experience has been the wide range of opportunities provided through programs like MUNs, moot court competitions, debates, and other co-curricular activities. These platforms have helped me develop essential skills such as research, drafting, mooting, advocacy, leadership, and public speaking—skills that form the foundation of a successful legal professional. As a first-year student, I actively participated in MUNs, moot competitions, debates, and various college-organized events, which not only enhanced my confidence but also broadened my perspective on critical legal and global issues.
I take pride in the skills I have developed in mooting and debate, which have been instrumental in building my ability to think critically, argue logically, and present ideas effectively. The supportive environment at Amity has motivated me to step out of my comfort zone and continuously challenge myself to do better.

The university has gifted me with an excellent environment in the past few years to study, not only theory but also exposure, which is very important for every budding lawyer. Many of the faculty members have been instrumental in sharpening my legal mind, analytical thinking, legal research skills, and advocacy skills through their guidance and mentorship.
One of the best parts of my Amity experience is the number of Moot court competitions, debates, mediation and legal aid projects and seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lectures by terrific legal professionals and academics that I have had the opportunity to engage in. Such experiences have helped me relate what I have learned in class to real-life situations and have boosted my confidence, communication skills, and problem solving skills.
The university's modern facilities, including the well-equipped library and extensive collection of legal research tools such as LexisNexis and SCC, have greatly enhanced my legal research, drafting and analysis abilities. These resources have allowed me to deepen my knowledge of law and to develop my research skills.
In addition to academics, Amity has motivated me to participate in other activities and assume leadership positions with different committees and student organizations. I have gained team work, coordination and organizational skills from serving in the organizing and leadership positions. Participating in national moot court competitions, legal research, and publications have also impacted my career prospects and have further fueled my love for the profession.
The valuable practical experience I gained during my internships, the training in mediation, the legal research I conducted, and the experience of participating in national level competitions have empowered me to handle real-life legal situations with confidence and professionalism. I have gained knowledge of the technical field from these experiences, and I have also learned the values of ethics, discipline, and continuous learning.
