The International Conference aimed at revisiting the existing texts related to History, Ethnicity, myth and their role in literature of present and past. The two-day international conference was directed and convened by Prof Dipa Chakrabarti, Head, Amity School of Languages. Eminent speakers from across the globe graced the conference with their informative insights related to the theme of the conference- Dr David Frawley,-founder, American Institute of Vedic Studies at Santa Fe, New Mexico; Prof Jonathan Locke Hart-Canadian Poet; Historian and literary scholar, Dr Sinyuy Geraldine-University of Yaounde, Cameroon; Prof Madhu Kishwar, National Professor,-ICSSR, New Delhi, Prof Nibir Ghosh- UGC-Emeritus Professor, Agra college Agra, Prof Hemendra Chandalia, Head, Department of English, JRN Vidyapeeth Rajasthan, Udaipur. Ms Tripti Pandey-Travel writer, Jaipur; Ms Dharmendar Kanwar- Travel writer Jaipur, Dr Indrajeet Bhattacharya, Museologist. The inaugural address of the conference was delivered by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof (Dr) Amit Jain. The valedictory session was addressed by the address of Pro-Vice chancellor of the university, Prof (Dr) GK Aseri. The conference was successfully coordinated by Prof Parul Mishra and Dr Gunja Patni, Assistant Professor, Amity School of Languages.
