National Conference On E- Governance: EMPOWERING CITIZENS & ORGANIZATIONS FOR NATION BUILDING

 

Inaugural and Panel Discussion-1

Amity Business School, Lucknow organized a Two-Day Conference On E- Governance: Empowering Citizens & Organizations For Nation Building on 28th and 29th June 2022. The Chief Guest of the conference was Dr Heera Lal, Advisor Model Gaon, Additional Mission Director-UP, National Health Mission IAS. Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Lucknow, Dr. Sunil Dhaneshwar and Director Amity Business School and Amity Institute of Liberal Arts Prof. (Dr.) Rohit Kushwaha along with Faculty, participants and students were present on this occasion.

Addressing the conference Dr Heera Lal elaborated on how e-governance is empowering citizens and organizations for Nation Building. Further, he highlighted that due to digitization intervention in the administrative machinery there is a lot of change in the administrative processes- Technology has helped to pave the way for achieving SDG goals.

Prof. (Dr) Sunil Dhaneshwar raised the importance of e-governance and the focused implementation of these provisions for Nation building. On the occasion Prof. Dhaneshwar congratulated the Amity Business School Team for organising a conference on a very relevant topic.

 

During the Conference panel discussion on “Digital Interdependence for economic growth: Issues and Challenges” was also organized in which Ex Chief Adviser to Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh & Chairman, UPSIDC, IAS(Retd.) Alok Ranjan; CEO State Agency for Comprehensive Health Insurance IAS Sangeeta Singh; and Associate Director Government Advisory KPMG Dr. Neyaz Ahmad participated as the panelists. 

The discussion was moderated by Mr. A K Srivastava, Vice Chairman Railway Claims and Tribunals and Prof. (Dr.) Rohit Kushwaha, Director Amity Business School.

Panel Discussion-2 and Valedictory

 

On day two of the Conference a panel discussion on “Ramification of digital working: A double edge sword” was also organized in which Mr Pradeep Mukherjee - Ex VP, Leadership Staffing & Development, Citigroup USA, VP & Head of HR Citibank UAE & Gulf, Partner at Global HR Lead Partners LLP; Dr Parikshit Joshi – Professor, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Information Technology – Allahabad; and Mr Jitendra Kumar Tiwari, Project Manager, Larsen & Turbo participated as the panelists. 

The discussion was moderated by Prof Jai Prakash Upadhya – Professor IMI Delhi, Leadership Expert Adviser and Performance Management Expert in UNDP, India, Afghnaistan and Swaziland and other International Organisation

Prof (Dr) Sanjeev Bansal was invited as Guest Honour in the Valedictory ceremony of the conference. Prof Bansal emphasized the importance of E-Governance in today’s digital era  and its significant contribution in betterment of the services to both citizens and organisations, and the key role in building solid foundation.
