Amity University always puts a very strong emphasis on research in all the dimensions, such as Science and Technology, Engineering, Management and many diverse areas of social studies. The university looks at research as a critical component of the personal growth of the faculty and institutions. Due to this vision, Amity University is tagged as a ‘research-driven university’, and we believe in developing a very sound ecosystem that fosters innovation, collaboration, and practical solutions to global challenges. Amity University Lucknow Campus is following the same mandate and promoting research at every level among our faculty, research scholars, and PG and UG students.
Amity University Lucknow campus has a vibrant Research Cell which coordinates with Amity Foundation for Science, Technology & Innovation Alliances (AFSTIA) to realise its mission and objectives. The effort of the Research Cell at Lucknow campus is to facilitate the faculty members’ efforts towards the creation of a conducive environment for research. We are also promoting research activity for research scholars and PG/UG students, for a meaningful outcome. We maintain research records, in terms of line details of research publications, patents, copyrights, conferences, and workshops. These are also analysed for central presentation. Research cell apprises the Pro Vice Chancellor and Secretariat of Hon’ble Founder President and Hon’ble Chairman, Amity University Lucknow Campus, every month.
Our activity includes the identification of potential areas of research as per departments’, dissemination of available funding opportunities with them, consultation with faculty members, guiding them when applying for government/industry-funded grants, patents, copyrights, etc. Besides, the research cell is also involved in promotional activities such as organising talks by international and national research luminaries, faculty development programs, workshops and signing of MoUs with important research organisations, for the benefit of faculty members and researchers.
