Apart from the lush green campus along with state of the art infrastructure, studying at Amity University Mumbai has given me a wonderful academic experience. My course is a dual degree in Biotechnology and is highly interdisciplinary and focuses more on “learning by doing” rather than theory-based lectures. The program is well-structured with supporting faculties and has excellent pedagogy backed by practical skills.

Ever since I stepped foot on the campus of Amity University Mumbai, I knew there was something special there for me. I would like to describe this university as the most disciplined and dynamic university. The university offers extensive opportunities such as various academic seminars, a research-oriented environment, interaction with valued scientists, etc.

Feels like yesterday, when I stepped into Amity institute of biotechnology, but it has been a year now. Every memory is still so afresh in my mind and the experiences and lessons to strive for excellence imbibed back then, still exists. From being a naïve, to a friend to all, I introduce myself as a Masters student of AIB. This place has introduced me to a whole new world, from supportive teachers to having friends from all around the globe.

The faculty members at Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) are very supportive and take initiatives to inculcate knowledge and skills in the students. Amity Institute of Biotechnology provided me with a platform to enhance my research capabilities as the professors encourage research work and guide students to attain their goals. Plenty of lectures and seminars on interdisciplinary topics were also conducted by the department allowing me to explore various fields of biotechnology. Apart from academics, I was the secretary of the Ami Sustain Club, and the department has avidly supported my participation in several extra-curricular activities associated with the club. AIB has the absolute blend of excellent laboratory facilities and approachable faculty members to help us do our best.
