Effective language competence is an asset for a lifetime and Amity School of Languages established in 2014, relentlessly strives to create conducive ambience to learn diverse languages, literatures, cultures and civilizations. The School plays a strategic role in enhancing the language competency of the UG and PG students in various languages such as English, French, German and Spanish through a formal training programme and tie ups with foreign embassies.

In addition to these languages, other languages like Mandarin and Japanese will be introduced in the coming years. The School also aims to strengthen human values and ethics by imbibing effective communication skills among the students through literary, language and theatre activities. Amity School of Languages is also keen in arranging faculty and student exchange programmes with the universities in France, Germany, UK and Spain.

The School offers B.A. (Hon.) in French and English and a Minor Track Programme – English Literature. B.A. English (Hon.) and B.A. French (Hon.) degrees prepare students to develop theoretical and analytical thinking, essential for research and other professional skills. For effective language acquisition, modern interactive means and techniques are used in the classrooms along with a well-equipped Language Lab with latest softwares, which refines language acquisition skills. Amity School of Languages puts a strong emphasis on engaged and experiential learning. Its drive is on the individual student through a passionate commitment to teaching.
