I congratulate Faculty of Management Studies and Behavioural Sciences for consistently evolving in its academic and innovative pursuits. The leading edge pedagogy and quality teaching methods along with industry interaction, live projects and corporate connect Programmes, have made it a premier institute that has produced many management professionals and industry leaders. The Centres of Excellence and Entrepreneurship Cell have been established with the objective of creating a practice research outreach and inspire innovative thinking and ideation among students. By benchmarking the best practices and providing a holistic atmosphere, Faculty of Management Studies and Behavioural Sciences has been successful in nurturing and encouraging the application and practice of research, innovation and learning.

The Department has achieved impressive growth over the years due to the sincere and dedicated efforts of its leadership and faculty. Its curriculum with a contemporary and global perspective has been the key factor in developing future leaders that possess knowledge, skills and competencies that are relevant to the changing trends.

It is our endeavour at Amity Business School (ABS) to focus on innovation, knowledge-sharing, openness and development of entrepreneurial skills for developing a new generation of global managers. ABS unique curriculum aims at experiential learning of students with innovative teaching pedagogy and presenting itself a professionally managed, well-equipped and value-driven management institute emphasizing on bridging the gap between the knowledge imparted in classrooms and employability skills that the corporate sector desires.

At ABS, students are encouraged to take initiatives, conceive ideas and organize various activities. Various personality development programmes contribute to the holistic development of students. The five days compulsory Leadership cum Miltary Training Camp is an integral part of the personality enhancement and creating a sense of discipline, team spirit, patriotism and building leadership. An international perspective is developed among students through the various Foreign Language Programmes, interaction with international speakers and providing the opportunity for study abroad programmes in collaboration with leading foreign Universities. Its three-tier mentor system provides excellent guidance to students from the mentors from faculty, industry and alumni. E-Cell and Incubation Centre provides an ideal ecosystem to budding entrepreneurs for shaping up their dreams and translating their business ideas into a successful business model.

ABS is proud of each of its Faculty who is committed to achieve academic excellence through high-quality teaching and research. More than 70 research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D in contemporary areas of business and management. Centre for Financial Analytics and Centre for BRICS Studies provides a unique platform to students for doing research under the guidance of eminent faculty members. The ABS Faculty members are well-known for their research contribution in India and abroad and share among themselves a wealth of industry and academic experience.

Amity School of Hospitality(ASH) started in 2013 with Graduate Hospitality Management course & in 2014 commenced the Travel & Tourism course. ASH under the Faculty of Management Studies & Behavioural Sciences, is a part of Amity University Haryana. With the recent upsurge of Inbound as well as Outbound Tourism and proliferation of International Hospitality Brands in India along with huge expansion plans of Domestic Hospitality Brands have necessitated the need for trained manpower at all levels. It is this crucial gap between demand & supply of Human Resource Capital that the Amity School of Hospitality is targeting to address.
