A National Seminar organized by Amity Centre for Sanskrit and Indic Studies on 14th September, 2023

 The Amity Centre for Sanskrit and Indic Studies, Amity University Haryana organized a one-day National seminar on the topic : “Environment and ecology in the Indian knowledge system,”  on 14th September 2023 as part of the Evening School Initiative of the Ashtadashi Project, which was sponsored by the Central Sanskrit University in New Delhi.  The seminar featured a total of about 15 research papers, which were been presented both in online and offline mode Dr. Dharmendra Duve presided over the research paper session, which added to the significance of the event. Additionally, the presence of Prof. Sanjay Kumar Jha, Director of Liberal Arts, and the esteemed guest Shri O.P. Pandey, who is not only an ISRO and NASA scientist but also a great scholar of Indian knowledge tradition, further heightened the enthusiasm of the participants.

In conclusion, the national seminar served as a valuable platform to explore various aspects of the Indian knowledge

tradition, with a particular focus on its relationship with the environment.
