A Faculty Development Program organized by Academic Staff College
Academic Staff College, Amity University Gurugram in collaboration with Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia, organized a Five- day Faculty Development Program on Empowering Your Teaching with OER and Moodle, on 20th to 24th November, 2023.
The event aimed to enhance pedagogical practices by equipping faculty with advanced skills in leveraging Open Educational Resources (OER) and Moodle, promoting the integration of technology into teaching, fostering a culture of open educational practices, and building faculty capacity for continuous professional development. Dr. Jeetendra Pande, Uttarakhand Open University was present as the expert speaker who provided insights about the National Education Policy, along with promoting technology enabled learning. A total of 15 students and 13 faculty members participated in the event.
In conclusion, the event created a community of practice among faculty members for ongoing collaboration and knowledge-sharing. The collaborative spirit, engagement, and practical skills acquired collectively affirmed the workshop's success in empowering educators for the evolving landscape of modern education
