Professor Neeraj Bhargava is a highly distinguished academician with over 36 years of experience in Computer Science and Engineering. He currently serves as a Professor at the Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, following a significant tenure as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer. His strong academic foundation includes a B.Tech in Computer Science from the University of Hyderabad, an M.S. from BITS Pilani, and a Ph.D. from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Professor Bhargava began his teaching career in 1990 as a Polytechnic Lecturer Computer Engineering after securing the top position in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) examination.

He served as Assistant Professor Computer Science & Engineering at MBM Engineering College , JNV University, Jodhpur and has held key administrative and leadership positions, such as Member of the Board of Management, Chairman of the Examination Advisory Committee Dean Science and Director of Research at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer, and has been a member of various bodies focused on quality assurance in higher education, including the Higher Education Committee (Member) of Govt. of Rajasthan , NAAC, NBA, AICTE, UGC peer teams.

A prolific researcher and author, Professor Bhargava has published several books and over 175 research papers in international journals, in addition to organizing more than 15 national and international conferences. His diverse research interests span cutting-edge fields such as Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Ad Hoc Networks, with notable contributions in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Spatial Data Management, and Medical Image Processing. His work on face recognition and fingerprint recognition has received widespread scholarly recognition. Professor Bhargava's academic influence extends globally, as he has represented India as a keynote speaker at various international forums counties such as Jordon, Thailand, Malaysia, Srilanka, Dubai, Hongkong, Vietnam
