Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus organized a Hands on Web Ex session on Biovia Discovery Studio. Dr. Anand Krishnamurty from BIOVIA Discovery Studio took the hands on session through Web on the various modules of the software. He started the session with prediction of sequence properties, protein secondary structure prediction followed by homology modelling of proteins. He further explained the docking procedure and pharmacoaphore modelling in Discovery Studio Software.
The session was attended by faculties of Amity Institute of Biotechnology and Amity Institute of Pharmacy, and also by students from various courses of Amity Institute of Biotechnology. The session was an interactive one, where many faculties and students asked their queries and got benefitted. Dr. Anand Krishnamurty very patiently answered all the queries and also promise to be available on mail for any further enquiry.
