National Seminar on Application of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics in Health Care: Breakthrough to Miracles

 This two-day “National Seminar on Application of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics in Health Care: Breakthrough to Miracles”was organizedby Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), Lucknow Campus during 18th and 19th Feb. 2020. Seminar theme comprised of areas on current applications of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics in the Biotechnology and medical fields. Scientist and academicians were invited from different institutions throughout the country.

100 participants from different organizations took part in this national seminar. Poster session and panel discussion on ethics and practices of Scientific conferences was conducted during the seminar that attracts attentions of participants. Two best poster prizes were also awarded in poster presentation session. Efforts and management of Dr. Manish Dwivedi (Convener, ABBHC2020) and all organizing committee members as well as unconditional support & suggestions from Pro-VC Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Dhaneshwar and Director, AIB Prof. (Dr.) J. K. Srivastava made this event successful.

Eminent scientists and academicians have joined this National seminar and share their opinions and findings with us. All the sessions were very interactive and participant has enjoyed and showed their cent percent engrossment. Prof. (Dr.) R. Ravishankar, Chief Scientist from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, Prof (Dr.) Raja Roy, Director, Center of Biomedical Research, Lucknow, Prof. (Dr.) Dwijendra K. Gupta, Head, Biochemistry Department, Central University of Allahabad, Prof. (Dr.) Pawan K. Dhar, Dean, School of Biotechnology, JNU, New Delhi and  Dr. John. J. Georrge, Head, Bioinformatics Division, Christ College, Gujarat grace the occasion with their presence.

Students and researchers from other institutions viz Sri Ram Swaroop Memorial University, Lucknow University etc. participated in the seminar. In fact, it covered the broad exposure of participants from various reputed institutions.
