To assess the potential for enhancing the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and to establish deeper collaboration in cutting-edge fields of science and technology particularly Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, drone technology, Dr. Damodaran T, Director ICAR- CISH and Dr Maneesh Mishra, Principal Scientist, ICAR- CISH, Lucknow, visited AMITY Lucknow Campus on April 24, 2024.
This visit provided a significant opportunity for both Institutions to strengthen ties and collaborate on groundbreaking projects that benefit both parties and advance our shared goals in scientific research and technological innovation. A brief interactive session with Dr. Damodaran T, Director of ICAR-CISH, and faculty with expertise in AI, machine learning, drone technology, transgenic development, and micropropagation paved the way for future collaboration on specific agricultural challenges, particularly in horticulture.
AMITY Lucknow campus and ICAR-CISH agreed to host a workshop at either location to further align the experts of both institutions. During discussions with Dr. Damodaran T and Dr. Maneesh Mishra, Wg Cdr (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Dy Pro VC; Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh K. Tiwari, Dean Academics; Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Srivastava, Director AIB and Officiating Dy Dean Research (S&T); Prof. (Dr.) Mala Trivedi, Professor and Officiating Head, Directorate of Research and Publications; and area experts from Engineering & Technology and Biotechnology were present.
