 Book Club & Amity College of Commerce and Finance (ACCF), Amity University Greater Noida cordially invites you to the 1^st lecture in the series on dated 28^th January 2022 on the topic ‘Practical Approach to Securities and Investment Market’. 

This session is a comprehensive guide among ongoing trading instruments, their trading practices, pricing techniques, and associated risks. 

Securities are the fundamental tools and products of investment banking. They can be broadly categorized into debt - including banknotes, bonds and debentures, equity and derivative financial instruments that range from options and swaps to very complex and risky trading strategies. It is a multi-billion dollar business based on sophisticated financial models and pricing techniques. 

In this context, a lecture on the above topic by Ms. Himani Lath (Manager NSDL- National Securities Depository Limited), Ms. Nanu Kaur (AGM SEBI- Securities and Exchange Board of India), and Ms. Karishma Makkar (Assistant Manager MSEI- Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India) will take place.

	Ms. Himani Lath is the Manager NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited), Delhi.  Having 16 years of experience in the capital market and an MBA by profession.
	Ms. Nanu Kaur is the Assistant General Manager at SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India), New Delhi.  Posted at Northern Regional Office at New Delhi.  Presently working in the Office of Investor Assistance and Education (OIAE) Department and Investment Management Department (IMD) - Portfolio Management Services (PMS) at NRO.  Associated with redressal of investor complaints against listed companies.  Also worked in Market Regulation Department (MRD) at Head Office, Mumbai; Market Intermediaries Regulation and Supervision (MIRSD) Department at NRO; Investment Management Department (IMD) - Collective Investment Schemes & Deemed Public Issues.
	Ms. Karishma Makkar is the Assistant Manager at MSE- Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India), Delhi  By profession, she is Company Secretary and having 5+ years of experience in secretarial and regulatory compliances.
